No it would be 1.10, as in ten, not one. We already had 1.1 months ago. Not just contrarian, it is that we're not dealing with decimals. The '.' just divide the subversions. There is no technically correct here.

1.12.5 for example, in game code versions, would mean the 1st overall version (for games expansions or re-releases, etc, may increase this), 12th major patch update on the version, 5th smaller fix to make the patch/version work. Bioware of course may keep hotfixes internally so they don't annoy us.

Its to organize development and communicate to the audience a code progression.

Only we didn't have 1.1 months ago, we had 1.01 months ago, which is actually something different. I'd say calling 1.10 = 1.1 is less confusing than calling 1.01 = 1.1, wouldn't you say?
I've also never heard of any dev who'd say the latter.

I have gathered that, but i want to see the methods behind the madness.
