Do not look into the abyss or let the abyss look into you.... I know the risks, but my curiosity is too great and must be quenched! He needs to get information for his kotaku articles.

Good stuff. I appreaciate the fixes, though I never encountered any of those bugs. Still hope for 1.1 to implement the ability to save during missions and to give us a quicksave button. Please please please! I think you mean 1.10 or 1.11. That's how versions go.

All I know is they introduced a new (old) race to andromeda only in multiplayer with no acknowledgement from the single player campaign which means they have no qualms about doing that sort of thing. This doesn't inspire confidence at all. And their backstory specifically revolve around those two batarians being the only batarians present. As I've said in the other thread (but I'll say it here to spread my thoughts), I don't think batarians are going to make any single-player appearance in DLC, and they simply came up with a justification to have two batarian kits appear in multiplayer without requiring any major story justification for their presence. And I think the two batarians are merely filler until the Quarian Ark DLC, so they can start adding the races involved in that. They might have the second batarian play a part in the story of a SP DLC. But I doubt it.

I can confirm, there is going to be second batarian. The classess are named Batarian Pyro and Batarian Scrapper.

Sprint is still broken. In 'hold mode' you still keep sprinting after releasing shift, and in 'toggle mode', the character keeps sprinting until death. It's very odd that such a basic and major issue has still not been fixed yet.

We already had 1.1 months ago. Not just contrarian, it is that we're not dealing with decimals. The '.' just divide the subversions. There is no technically correct here. 1.12.5 for example, in game code versions, would mean the 1st overall version (for games expansions or re-releases, etc, may increase this), 12th major patch update on the version, 5th smaller fix to make the patch/version work. Bioware of course may keep hotfixes internally so they don't annoy us. Its to organize development and communicate to the audience a code progression.

Only we didn't have 1.1 months ago, we had 1.01 months ago, which is actually something different. I'd say calling 1.10 = 1.1 is less confusing than calling 1.01 = 1.1, wouldn't you say? I've also never heard of any dev who'd say the latter. But hey, who cares, I count my way, you count yours. Let's leave it at that and end this pointless discussion.

Its not the counting, its the whole point of version code. Yes I will leave it at this.

It'll keep getting patches as long as it keeps selling microtransactions. I may be a new member, but I have been lurking for quite a while. That being said, why is it that you cling to a seemingly pathological hate for ME:A? You surely hated the game and that's a-ok. I hope the next one tickles your fancy. I do have to ask, however, why do you insist on trashing on any and all ME:A threads that are positive or informative in any way? Is it just the typical douchey troll attitude? Is it a feeling of betrayal regarding ME:A and BW? Is it a compulsion? Or is is some sort of paraphilia? I'm genuinely curious... I like this person and it has nothing to do with the avatar.....

Also, for folks wondering, the new Batarian Scrapper's description isn't anything major. Not-that-long story short, he and a fellow batarian provided evidence against a pirate leader, Alliance witness protection failed, and they fled the galaxy by tagging along on the salarian ark. So a.) nothing about it invalidates the quarian ark and b.) we're almost certainly going to get a (the!) second batarian in Andromeda MP. Doesn't mean more won't show up, of course, but lore currently dictates that all of two batarians exist in the Andromeda galaxy. A bit disappointing. I was hoping he'd be a scout for the Quarian Ark. Hopefully there is a lot more with the Quarians. I want a booming Batarian population, damn it.

What compels you to belittle and mock anyone that doesn't share your love for Andromeda? Is it compulsion? Or is it some sort of paraphilia? Why insist on always making things personal? I'm not the one with issues, you are.

Could you imagine the Angara reaction to Batarian society, especially if the whole "slavery is a part our culture" discussion came up? Could milk that for a serious amount dialog.

If they keep improving the Jaal romance I am going to explode from the cuteness. This is the best animations yet! Outta curiosity, how far are you in the game? I mean, was this playthrough before 1.09 or a new one?

They really did a great job with the facial animations. Everything is smoother and more expressive! Yeah? I'll have to boot up the campaign to take a look at it. I can't wait for all the parts to the new rig arrives. Damn it. I'm left standing on the outside looking in. Come on UPS and FedEx!
