So let me get this straight, if BioWare keeps making 4-player co-op to the end of time--even with their campaigns (i.e. Anthem) none of you would find that stale or boring? As mentioned before, if I wanted to play a PvP game, I would (and do) play a different title. I have Battlefield 1 for the times where I want to prove how awful awesome I am at competitive games. I can understand why you would want a ME PvP game, but for a lot of us, ME:MP offers a unique experience that we really can't get with any other game. You're also barking up the wrong tree. We're in the MP forum which was created by a community of players that enjoys the ever loving heck out of ME:MP, some of us even after the terrible 1.09 update. In other words, we love the co-op nature of the game. That's why we're here. |

Trying to balance a shooter for both PVP and PVE makes for a lesser experience for both. All the cool things have to be turned into something half-assed so people don't moan about getting rekt. Something like Destiny would be way better IMO if they stuck to PVE.

There are literally hundreds of PvP games out there. I do not play any of them, but I keep running over them when trying to find games I might like to play.
I have played them occasionally, but I do not like how they make me feel.

Hell to the no. If they made some kind of spin off FPS based in the ME universe that was specifically designed to be a PvP styled game then sure why not. But to take the formula we have and try and slap a sh** colored coat of PvP paint on to it, I don't think so.

respawn right after getting killed, not waiting for the wave to end to play again
just like in Titanfall
and a good matchmaking system, so new players player together and experienced players too
not an entire team of veterans against new players

My guess is that Mass Effect Online would look a lot like Destiny multiplayer, wich was a horribly balanced game online because of power levels, the better gear you had, the better you were. In Mass Effect a level 20 X character would have a huge advantage on a level 5 character.
On another note, a coop story mission could be cool thought. I would still keep the 4-coop survival wave game mode.

No. There are lots of PvP games out there, let's have one co-op game that doesn't have to be polluted with PvP. Because in every co-op multiplayer game I've played, once PvP is introduced it negatively impacts the co-op. It shouldn't have to be that way, but it always is. The entire game winds up being balanced around PvP.
And I agree with the above poster who said we'll probably never see another ME game. Maybe if Bioware is spun off or EA sells it or the ME franchise we will. But EA is the great black pit where game franchises go to die once the bean counters wreck them.
