If you understand Witcher lore you would know why he is static.

I understand Witcher lore...i played all three games and know why Witchers are the way they are. He's just not a very interesting character but the world he inhabites was interesting enough to get me through.

You need a strong base game for a Blood and Wine type of DLC to be successful

While I enjoyed the witcher trilogy, I never liked geralt and I don't give a single fuck that its because of mutation, I did not care for him in the first two game. 

I only started to feel something when he was with other characters in the third game like triss (certainly not yennefer), ciri and zoltan and even that was limited because I felt something THROUGHT them not throught him. I did not hated him but I just could not care less for the character.

Still more memorable than Ryder tbh.
