Also I just remembered these and I don't want to forget again: *Enemy dodging/evasion behavior is unnatural, and made to be infuriating to the player it seems. As soon as you shoot someone they start bunny hopping left and right, and it's pretty dumb that they jump closer to the player in 50% of the occasions. And there seems to not be a cooldown for that so they do it all the time, on top of that add their insta-target acquisition and it's a pretty cheese way to kill a player.
Which leads us to:
*Enemy awareness. Saying it's unnatural would be an understatement, they dodge when you fire at them from behind, that is just dumb. Maybe nerf their voices in their heads a little bit so they don't describe to them the battlefield so accurately?
*And Sharpshooters. Their behavior in general is weird, sometimes they're the last man standing and they start running around the map like if they were running away from the players. That's annoying as fun as it may sound. Also, and they gave a garbo explanation in the past about "off-host issue" they do move waaaaaay to fast, faster than the player sprinting, and it has nothing to do with latency.

Also while searching for melee I found these uncompleted questions/something ? The blank spots in the grid are where Bioware proactively addressed something before we could ask a queued up question. I left them blank so we (well, "I" at least) know that it was a proactive statement rather than a response to a particular question. I will add a note to this effect. Also regarding things like melee and certain powers (*cough* Shockwave *cough*) eventually we (well, "I") give up on asking about them and we have to accept that is how the game is. There are so many questions to ask I like to let the old ones die.

I've no idea how this could be asked without it sounding "loaded" or like we were accusing them of bad judgement, lazy cut-and-paste, or somesuch, but I think it should at least be noted (just in case any of them read these threads...).
Regarding daily challenges...
The combat mastery daily challenge has been offered and is now working, as is the biotic one - which is great. The requirement is 35,000 points, identical to the daily challenges that require you to get that many points versus a specific enemy type. Here's the thing: most of the points scored come from weapons and combos, and what appears to be counted here is only base damage from specific skills.
They had stated that their intent with the daily challenges was to create something that could be completed within 1-3 games; thus 14 waves for difficulty or map challenges, and 35,000 points scored against enemy types fits very neatly into that 1-3 games frame. It's been my experience that the combat and biotic mastery challenges require a lot more than 3 games to complete. I suspect they simply copied the 35,000 points from the enemy type challenges without recognizing that the base (non-combo) damage from these various skill types is much less per game.
For example: it takes a lot more games to score 35,000 points worth of combat skill damage than it does to score 35,000 points versus kett.
IME, something more along the lines of 10,000 - 15,000 points for combat, biotic, tech skills would be much more conducive to completion in 1-3 games than the current 35,000.

@pasquale I think we can just flat out state your findings (which I agree with) and ask them to please reduce the number of points needed. Something like:
"Daily Challenges for Combat / Biotic / Tech are set to 35,000 points, which is hard to accumulate within 2-3 games because the points only count base damage (not combo detonation damage). Would you please reduce the number of points required for these Daily Challenges?"

*Enemy dodging/evasion behavior is unnatural, *Enemy awareness. *And Sharpshooters. All good points. Would be a big help if anyone has short video clips of these. Gethadept posted two videos some time ago. Link here I haven't seen this Sharpshooter behavior personally, but it sure looks annoying. Pariah AI does make logical sense. They hold up their shield and circle strafe like any reasonable person would. But from my (the player's) perspective, the behavior is similar to griefing. They aren't really much of a threat, but their constant circle strafing makes them one of the most difficult enemies to target (second only to suicide breachers and maybe drunk observers). (Edit: I imagine Pariahs aren't too hard to track with a mouse, but on console it's a chore.) Has anyone asked about why observers can clip through that one wall on Paradox? The observers in general seem to have clipping/pathing issues. The if you run to the right as you leave the LZ after entering a game.

I know there's no stream tomorrow, but are we getting new content at all? Just wondering if I should grind some more Platinum tonight for a new character tomorrow. Should be a new map tomorrow on an APEX mission only. Next week should be the same with a second new map, but both maps will be added to the normal list together on the third week.

Yeah but aggro mechanics are so borked that enemies don't give a shit if you're shooting at them or not. No idea what you mean After being killed by an Observer, it kept charging and shooting me for a whole 15 seconds. Mr. Observer, I'm dead, there's no need to hit me while I'm down, especially not flying around my body in circles shooting at my "exit" hole, please move on to another associate of mine... Or I already have 2 Hydras, 1 Super Fast Hydra, 3 Berserkers, 2 Saboteurs and 1 Sharpshooter following me all around the map ignoring everyone else attacking them. While this happens, a Saboteur spawns at the farthest possible point from me on the map and see thru buildings there's a party going on. So he travels all the way around every single of my allies and sneak up behind me... F U Oh and btw PUGs, when this happens, please don't kill the motherfucker, IT'S MINE!!!

No surprise that they just slop out a load of shit when called on their bullshit. Uncool, dude. Billy (and Bastiaan and Fernando et al.) have been great about fielding our questions. And also, we do need to Git Gud (tm) at Platinum. It's only been a week... of course people are going to struggle to adapt. Let's try to be less toxic than reddit, OK? If we ever want the chance of Bioware engaging with us here we ought to be polite. It is fine to disagree but not fine to say they are slopping out shit.

I might catch flak for this... but after playing with the new Hack, I kind of agree with Billy on this one. The problem is mainly the hack takes too long, at least on platinum which is most of what I've been playing since the change. If you get unlucky with enemies camping the spot or idiot pugs there isn't much time to recover after kiting/killing.
It's kind of nice and adds to the challenge, makes matches more unpredictable. I can understand why it enrages people, but yea. git gud

Hack is starting to bring that back, though it could use some tweaks.

Announcing the Twitchy Questioning 'dot vote' for question categories.SurveyMonkey link --> www.surveymonkey.com/r/RLL2NBQIn the past I have relied on gut feel and my own biases to select the question priority. For the next Twitch (at the end of the month) I want to try a consensus-building method known as 'dot voting' (or 'N/3' if you're old school like me). In this 'dot vote' you have a TOTAL of 4 dots to spend on 11 CATEGORIES of questions as shown on the SurveyMonkey. (I consolidated from 50+ questions down to 11 categories to make the voting feasible.) In real life these would be colored dot stickers (hence the name) that you would put on the notecard with the category -- you'd only have 4 stickers so you couldn't over-vote. On SurveyMonkey I cannot enforce that restriction so please, don't over-vote, or I'll be forced to throw out your response. I am also asking for BSN usernames so I can weed out spam and multiple responses. (I will just visually inspect the usernames and maybe spot-check any I don't recognize against the list here.) This survey will remain open until 25 July 2017 to allow for as many votes as possible and thus as much consensus as possible. Thank you to those who participate!

Pleas and Pack seem kind of similar. Was going to put two into the first one anyway, so I just split them up. Yeah, I agonized over that one. It seemed like there were two separate issues though: is stuff dropping as intended? (pack) vs. OMG THIS SUCKS MAKE IT SUCK LESS (pleas) Anyway this is my first experiment with Twitchy Questioning dot votes so expect it to improve in future weeks. (Dot voting is a tried and true technique but I've obviously never used it here before, though.)
