Well in fairness they DON'T work in a mission critical field. Those fields have redundant backup personnel in place or at least they're supposed to.
Also, even doctors get sick and have to postpone operations. I once worked for one of the top heart surgeons in the world (no joke) as a medical secretary - he had to postpone a few operations - and no one else could / would do the procedure because how dicey it was. (Third time re-op on a 86 year old or something like that.)
If there is no one else at BWE to do the stream -- Billy still on vaca, Conal and Bastiaan both sick -- then here we are.

So...
I know these livestreams don't have much to do with singleplayer and all, but a while ago when certain fake rumours arose about the lack of upcoming DLC, one of the MEA devs urged that people to 'wait until the end of July, if they were willing to'. I don't know which one of the devs it was though.
Any word on this perhaps, since the end of the month is closing in?

OK, the only female employees at BWE whose names I know are Karin Weekes (@ KarinWeekes), a writer who was on one of the early streams. Sarah ???, a developer who was on one of the early stream. As I don't know her last name I can't find her on Twitter. and Mae Morrison who posts some of the updates on the blog. There are several people with that name on Twitter, a lot of them look young, I kinda don't want to get my account entwined with theirs.... Trolling through their Tweets from June... holy shit, Karin Tweets a lot... seriously I've been scrolling for 10 minutes, just now at June 10... lots of talk around this time of the Anthem reveal... goddamn Canadians, quit Tweeting about U.S. politics, you have absolutely no horse in this race... moving on... and into July now, giving up soon... Sorry I struck out, if someone else want to have a crack, go for it. |

They all should have been back though. Don't you think it's a little odd that they couldn't get someone to get on camera for ten minutes to explain the situation and briefly go over the new content (particularly Billy, who has done these streams in the past-although maybe he's cut back/they won't let him in light of his reddit blowup)? As you said, spreading the news through an edited Reddit post is less than ideal. |
