Twitchy Questioning 12: A Twitch of the Horsequestions

This actually somewhat tracks with reality, which is surprising from Bioware. There are 2 counteractions when firing a bullet, one is the well known recoil (causes muzzle climb) and the other is the countertwist from the rifling. If ME's weapons actually have rifling (who knows??) this would be quite normal. Countertwist is best demonstrated with a pistol (because lighter). Firing from the right hand it pushes the grip into your hand. Firing left handed it actually tries to pull the grip out of your hand. And, because your hand has an arm with a fixed attaching point this action pulls the muzzle left or right depending on direction of the rifling, handedness does not matter.

and here I was about to shit all over the lack of care and polish from yet another detail in this game, and someone had to drop some gun knowledge on it

Q: Kishock has a charging indicator bar, something we can see on other weapons like Venom?

That combo seems to happen when they give us a free UR box as well. Maybe a challenge for Ruins will show up..

Firebase Nimbus 'heavily inspired by an environment' in SP but had some revisions to make it MP friendly.

Map has two variants, day and night. The sun on this planet is more red-tinted though.    

Billy is using Angara Avenger with Hurricane and Talon.

Wave 3 hack on one of the side platforms, a little cover from a big space crate.

This map (Nimbus) and the other one (Vertigo) "should be" in regular rotation next week.

Billy's 'new follower' twitch sound is a manly shotgun blast, far louder than anything in MEA.

Silver difficulty. They did the Hack pretty easily. Wave 6 was targets so that was easy too.

Side conversation on maps from ME3. Billy liked Vancouver.

Billy says he has the most fun when he's just hanging with bros and playing game no on-stream. Err... OK... I get that but then why stream on your day off?

Billy said this would be a short stream. Apparently he regularly streams 5-6 hours! Today only an hour plus to knock out the Daily Challenges and show off the new map.

There was some side conversation (OK just me) about Far Cry 3 co-op multiplayer. Great game with very player-friendly loot swapping option, but the missions were too long for comfortable playtime.

Anyway that's it. Equipment still isn't in the pool. Apparently it is a manual push for the weekly equipment (?!) rather than automated. As I said Billy was texting people at Bioware about it.
