Sadly not. Reading about the revised hack objective has discouraged me and it doesn't seem worth the effort, and I've played countless ME3 Plat games.

At launch I had the goal of getting all my characters to 20 but the idea of that is discouraging now.

I've played 6 Platinum matches. First two had strong Pugs and relatively easy extracts. Been tough since then-failing in 4th wave twice and 6th wave twice. The host even let a guy play with no boosters in one match. In these matches there have been lots of deaths-and even with my infiltrator, I've died too much. However, running out of time on the hack has caused the fail every time. I don't even mind too much failing in the 6th wave hack as I still get about 83 credits. However, if I'm going to use level 4 boosters, I'd like 135k, because they are not easy to replace. I may become more choosy on Plat matches and focus on Apex missions with player-friendly mission settings & play the hell out of those when they come up.

No clue, our standard layout when not pugging is me as melee kromerc for vip tie up and general dps, a salarian op as "debuff", and avenger as interference and far object thinger and a Havoc as aggregate dps, or alternately asari adept as spike dps. Three of us will bleed peepee guys while someone hunts the vips, we group up for bosses or particularly bullshit HP elites like the Progenitor, we tend to focus on Angarans and Outlaws if possible and avoid remnant units if possible, because the ttk and spam on them is absurd.

That's about the long and short, in platinum it's a solid team, in gold it's essentially a roving band of murder hobos if you have any boosters, particularly weapon or a primer power one, or just incin by itself (don't detonate it), and the ammo of choice for gold is ice for straight killing and electric in plat for lockdown .

I tried to find PUG platinum lobbies all weekend. Could not find a SINGLE lobby. I not planning to make a move to Platinum, but I just wanted to experience it once.

But I heard it is more annoying than it is difficult. So perhaps I should stay away until some future Balance changes drop.

Hack mission is at least very exciting in gold difficulty now.

Played two Platinum matches last night without any Infiltrators. Mixed friends/pugs.
The first one was challenging (the Apex against Outlaw on Icebreaker, no ammo refills), but the second one (Remnant/Paradox) was a breeze, even though we had to carry one of the pugs.

But playing KroMerc and raining Flak is not hard ofcourse. He even felt quite durable (specced out of Flamethrower this time).
