I'm having a bit of an issue. I opened a chest and got an inventory full notice, so I deconstructed a few weapons and armors and my Item Limit now reads 101/150. I tried collecting the item left in the chest again and still got an inventory full notice. The item left is a Remnant Decryption Key... so I thought, OK, I must have to clear out an item in the Resources section... so I destroyed a couple of pieces of low value salvage... Item Limit still reads 101/150 and I still cannot collect the remnant decryption key in that chest. I'm in the middle of doing the Elaaden vault and still have the two secret chest to collect. Any ideas how I can alleviate this in order to collect this key and those two remaining chests?
I should also say, I do have 9 Remnant Decryption Keys... Is there perhaps an individual limit on those?

That's weird, AFAIK, decryption keys don't even count as items. Only weapons, mods, armor and consumables count I think. Must be a bug.

There's a limit on decryption keys apparently. I believe it is nine if memory serves.

I think I read there was a limit on them but then I don't normally carry moer than 3 or 4 or atleast enough t oget me in and out of the vault so I don' thave to do those puzzles unless I want to.

I never noticed because I rarely use them. I just do the puzzle. I've always been decent at sudoku.

I know there aer some tha tremnant keys can't override as well which can be a pain so that's wher the book comes in handy again too.

Some are really easy. Just depends if I am in the mood to stop and think it out or if I don't feel like puzzle time. Sometimes it feels like it kills the flow of the game to stop and do the puzzle. Other times it fits in fine.

That's why - I haven't been using the decryption keys at all. I really like sudoku, so I'm not having any real problems solving the puzzles on my own and actually enjoy the break it gives from the other aspects of the game. I suck at all the platforming, for example... I'm still not through this vault with trying to grab both barriered chests. Either I fall or I just simply run out of time and get eaten by the purification field... onto to try 6 now (lol).

It may not be the most innovative puzzle ever but these kinds of breaks work really well for me in action games (for example, also enjoyed the hell out of the glyph puzzles in Assassins Creed 2 and Brotherhood). I really hope they will keep up (or even improve) on the gameplay diversity. The mix of combat (shooting, using powers), platforming, driving, dialog and solving puzzles ( which could even be enhanced a bit IMO) is what keeps it interesting to me.

The mix of combat (shooting, using powers), platforming, driving, dialog and solving puzzles ( which could even be enhanced a bit IMO) is what keeps it interesting to me. I agree completely... the puzzle aspects can certainly be enhanced. I think that Bioware was trying to capitalize on a puzzle type that became a real phenomenon for awhile... everyone I knew was doing sudoku... on the bus, during work breaks, in the park watching the kids, in the daily papers (I think our paper had 3 of them daily). Then, unfortunately, the fad died out before the game was released. I love the varieties of checkers in AC4, was OK with the hacking games in ME2, but absolutely hated the Simon Says game the consoles got stuck with in ME1. It's not really a puzzle, but I liked quasar throughout the OT though and the roulette was also fun. Didn't like the varren racing or varren fighting and was disappointed to see a version of the latter here in ME:A. I hated TW3 generally... but I did enjoy gwent to some degree... it's a great example of a great original mini-game that's going to be a tough act to follow for pretty much any game out there. For bigger more physical (e.g. platforming) puzzles, I though Rise of the Tomb Raider did a good job providing a unique variety of them with their Optional Challenge Tombs.

Hint: One key to note with the sudoku in ME:A is that the puzzle is not just about getting 1 of each symbol in each row and each column, but also getting one of each symbol each of the outlined "boxes" within the puzzle framework. Knowing that is often the key to solving the puzzle easily (especially the 5 x 5 ones).

Or maybe I'm better with Glyphs than with numbers Altough, I still suffer with those 5x5 ones. @op: I know you've solved it already, but I can, at least, offer a 100% confirmation that the total of Remnant Decryption keys are indeed 9, because I had this same "issue" as you in the past

Surprised if this is a pc issue someone has not said: "There is a mod for that." I'm not on a PC... Xbox One. Knowing the limit now, I'll just make sure I sell off a few now (they are worth a bit of coin) and make sure I'm not at that limit when I start longer missions.

It's handy to have 3 or 4 I think to get you in and out of the vaults and dealing with the monoliths but tbh you don't really need to be carrying any more than that.
