YongYea's take on Kotaku's Andromeda Development article

Also, who gives a fuck about YongYea? Is he ex Bioware? Any game development experience - at all? If he's not an insider, how is he making videos smelling his own farts? Who cares?

A question, as I myself have had several posts shuttled into already existing posts:
At what point is a post that discusses the same topic as another different or the same?

I'm not complaining about my posts, to be clear.  I could see how they fit into the threads they were moved to.  In this case, would any other YouTube video that discusses the Kotaku article get it's own thread?  Would we develop a "YouTube Reacts" thread for that article?  The original thread has not yet been closed, and I'm just wondering why this video that offers no additional information should be in its own thread.  
I know you guys have a tough job to do, I'm honestly just curious so I can decide if future threads I wish to create should be their own individual thread or be posted in existing ones.  

Example:  Everyone on BSN creates their own YouTube video about the article.  Do they all get their own threads?

It's a fair question, mostly it's a combination of traffic and interest.
When MEA launched (30,000 visitors per day) it was utterly impractical to have a thread for everything, so we combined into threads like the 'positive' and 'negative' threads.

Now that traffic is a little less (8,000 visitors per day), we can be a little more flexible with slightly different topics.
If more YouTube topics pop up then we might combine them.

Yes, it's a judgment call and it's about keeping the conversation in the Goldilocks zone: Not too many threads, not too few.

The way this thread has developed is exactly why I don't really post anymore on this forum. It's just one giant shitstorm of people hating each other. Actually reminds me of the old BSN!

If it's true that the development was troubled like Yong and others report (true or not) it just makes Bioware's accomplishment here even more outstanding, given all they apparently had to work against.

I've moderated other game communities but few are as passionate, both pro and contrary, as BioWare fans.
