The Sith order wasn't all about the Rule of Two until Darth Bane, and there are quite a few versions of Sith that didn't follow that rule, or at least followed that rule only in a very technical sense. Hell, even Palpatine and Dooku didn't exactly follow the Rule of Two, what with Maul, Ventress, and some others. I guess you have to decide whether you're including the EU in this or not. If you're not, you can't use stuff from it to back up the point. If you are, then the you can't really use the fact that it was disregarded to back up the point. Regardless, neither Sidious or Tyranus (or Vader, for that matter) actually broke the Rule of Two. Sidious might have considered a Maul to be a short-term asset but he didn't actually take Tyranus on as an apprentice until after Naboo (at that stage, Dooku was a disillusioned ex-Jedi). Tyranus trained Ventress but she was even less than Maul and never actually became a Sith apprentice - he discarded her long before that stage. Vader would have likely attempted to kill Sidious before taking Luke on as an apprentice. I'd agree the Rule of Two isn't as old as the Sith themselves but it wasn't exactly new - by the time of the films it had been around for over a thousand years, it stands to reason that any Sith in modern times would have observed it. If we're not including the EU in this, then literally every Sith we've seen observed it. Same goes for the Darth title. If we are including the EU, the use of the Darth title goes back even further. I wasn't saying it was impossible for Snoke to be a Sith, merely that there isn't any direct line of succession to him that would support the argument. As for the rest... tbh the fact that so much of the Sith are defined by Bane's legacy doesn't really have any relevance to the point. Regardless of what they were thousands of years ago, the Sith are a specific concept in the SW universe, you can't really just pick and choose which parts of the definition you feel like applying. If you're saying a character is a Sith, you're saying that they're a part of the order and follow their ways, which Kylo pretty clearly doesn't. Therefore he isn't a Sith. As I say, all Sith use the Dark Side of the Force but not all Dark Side practitioners are Sith.

Do we need to get the mods here to ban some people? Seriously, what the hell is wrong with some people harassing this guy? Dragonracer says he's entitled to his opinion and that we shouldn't harass him yet look at what's happening so far. In my five months here, I have seen the harassment is mostly on OP side, he will start a thread like this, get firebombed, then come back and do it again. Over and over again. please people IGNORE the OP. He wants the attention. Ignore, please. He has the right to hate ME:A all he wants, but when plays the victim card (the type of shit like "you are the angry one not me" "everyone on Metacritic says it sucks so you're wrong", "It's a flop because it's on sale at Wal-Mart" "You don't what you're talking about", "I'm just joking, you can't take a joke!", and etc) and then bashes other people who do like the game by making fun of them, posting insulting videos and memes, or just calling them names because they don't share his opinions. What he is trying to do is poison the Mass Effect fanbase because he hates the series and wants to see BioWare go out of business because they don't make the game he wants them to make just for him. Like I said before he's a pathetic "hardcore" gamer troll who apparently like playing a victim so he can blame people like me who don't share his stupid views on a fucking video game, which is pretty pathetic that he focus so much bile against one video game, I mean what else did his copy ME:A do (besides disappoint him), did it cause his home burn down or something? If I hated a piece of media like he "hates" ME:A (FTR I do hate a piece of media that much but I'm not going to talk about it because I'm not going to give that abortion any more attention than it deserves, which is none) I wouldn't talk about I wouldn't post any more about than I had too and I wouldn't be on a fan site dedicated to that media and/or the people who made flaming everyone who disagrees with my opinion. Then he says "I only played 10 hours of it before I raged quit." has he proved that, shown a screen shot or a video? I mean I could say that I played and beat TW3 and that I hate it for any old reason, but all someone here would have to do is check my XBL and/or PSN accounts to know that isn't a true (and FTR I have NOT played TW3 and you can check that). Seriously dude: play another game, watch a movie or TV show, listen to some music, read a book, or a comic book that you do like or better yet do something else like help save Net Neutrality that actually might have some positive benefits for the world.
