YongYea's take on Kotaku's Andromeda Development article

*The Jedi are again extinct, after the First Order rises.

*The way Kylo Ren was introduced was very similiar as to the way Darth Vader was introduced, after a stormtrooper battle.

*A droid, BB8, is sent to a desert planet with top secret information of the whereabouts of Luke Skywalker, like Leia sent R2D2 to a desert planet with secret information. Poe Dameron, who hides the information in the droid is tortured by the First Order, like Leia was tortured by the Empire.

*Stormtroopers search for the missing droid, like in A New Hope they search for R2D2 and in The Force Awakens they search for BB8.

*Our main heroes are stranded on a desert planet: Rey on Jakku and Luke on Tatooine.

*Planets are destroyed by Starkiller Base(AKA death star 3.0).

*The main characters leave the desert planet on the Millennium Falcon.

*Rey, Finn, Han Solo, Chewbaca, BB8 make it to the Rebel base and characters meet up, old friends reunited, then they go to rescue  Rey after she is taken by the First Order (reverse order in New Hope).

*The rebels blow up the Starkiller base before the base can destroy another planet using a squadron of X-wings.
