I got carried by nat and Pat played a little around launch but gave up because of the epic fucking grindfest* and retreated to SP. This was before the patch that apparently fixed all the imbalances. Is it better now? I really want to like MEAMP as much as I loved ME3MP. EDIT: By grindfest I was referring to levelling, not getting new shinies. The new XP boosters make levelling rather fast at least to 20. The levelling to XX is hard on rare/ultra rare kits. I just play basic humans for now.

I can´t decide between yes and no.This game in its core is annoying, but it can be mitigated quite a lot if you manage to play with good group and have, unlike me , good connection. It CAN be fun. But usually it´s only dancing between ok and getting pissed off. I'd say no. And will just leave this here. Jeralt!

I stopped playing, but it hasn't even been a week yet.
Still, that's a lot longer than I ever went went without playing ME 3 at the same relative place in the game's life. I had been close to getting reasonable odds on a few things I was looking forward to (most importantly the piercing mod for sniper rifles.) At this point, the pool is so diluted I can't reasonably expect to unlock any remaining (original) mods for a long time.
That having been said, it's the same experience in the short term (unless you have an epic trove of credits saved up, and it doesn't sound like you do.) The leveling grind is much the same, although you now have the option of buying experience boosters directly to speed the process up.
I'd say play if you feel like it, but there isn't anything grandiose added since 1.05 that you should feel like you're missing out out on if you decide not to.

Can't say it is. Tried the new patch and there is a couple of nice things about it. Then I joined 2 pug lobbies the other day that failed to complete objectives. It's kinda fun to play with friends but not really with pugs.
And the XP grind is FUCKING RIDICULOUS!
I've started another XCOM2 (LW2 mod) playthrough instead. Still have a FO4 insanity to look at. And if I want MP Fractured Space looks like a good alternative.
