(After getting shafted, yet again, out of gold rewards and my boosters)
This game needs a combat log: damage delivered to each target, kills landed, objectives / waves completed, payouts.
These do not need to be retained indefinitely, but they do need to be retained for a time.
This kind of thing would show up bugs where they happen, and also show up hax where they are inflicted, and would help recovery from crashes. It would also be a great debugging tool for the devs.

Two things. One, it would be nice to see that and two, this is exactly why we won't get it. Besides, they would just put it in the app and that would lock out anyone that doesn't (or can't) use it and it wouldn't work right. You have to remember the less than phoned in effort they put into this game. If they can't copy and paste it from their original half-assed attempt at a game they aren't going to do it.

You have to remember the less than phoned in effort they put into this game. If they can't copy and paste it from their original half-assed attempt at a game they aren't going to do it. I disagree. This game does not smell like a "phoned in effort" - there's actually a ton of work visible in this game. This game smells to me like a "we changed all the people and tried to reuse stuff that seemed good" effort. And by "seemed good" I do not mean necessarily from the Mass Effect series. Anyways, yes, it's totally half backed and feels unprofessional. But that is a reflection of using money to try to solve technical issues (rather than solving technical issues and using money where that works). Anyways, it's salvagable, I think, but you are right that that would not be easy, nor simple. I just think you are wrong for your explanation of how this happened. You get new people in, no matter how talented, and have them work on some complicated stuff that other people put together and that's just going to take a really long time. But with enough money you can get people to say something different. And if it doesn't work out? Those people were paid well and can easily find another job where they can screw up something else... (and they'll probably get good references because the people they're leaving behind want them gone and might be completely happy if they mess up a competitor's business). Ugh... So, anyways, there might be reasons we will not get this, but I do not think "phoned in effort" takes the cake.

They should make hack normal again, without having enemies stopping the progress. It is just too hard and impossible with non-stealth characters.

A combat log would be great. Way back in the day we had really great basic stats for Halo 2. That was over 10 years ago. Even a omething as simple as that would be great.

An enema? This game needs an enema! Are you for real?! That's exactly the problem with this game! I've seen multiple posts by other members, clearly stating that "this game's enemas are lame". Others say that the enema AI is off and there are reports of enemas going through walls and floors. Then there's the issue with sink-filling which can turn into a gigantic mess. O, and don't get me started on off-host headshits...

So, anyways, there might be reasons we will not get this, but I do not think "phoned in effort" takes the cake. I'm not one to go out of my way to argue but, I'd like you to look up the history of developing this game then re-read what you wrote and then look at the definition of "phoned it in". Phoned it in (verb) to have completed an action, especially giving a performance, while showing a minimum of effort. Generally used to refer to performances that border on unprofessional. The intended audience would have been similarly disappointed if the person had delivered the performance by speakerphone, in order to spend more time on leisurely pursuits. to put in a half assed effort at something, but complete it. Often pertaining to work which is complete and pretending to have worked a long time on, when in fact little to no effort was put into it. Derived from deciding to not physically attend a meeting in, but rather to be present by phone only. Add to that the obvious customer facing issues like all characters using the same dodge and other animations (outsourced), the use of a known problematic engine, seemingly untested and broken content, etc. Of course, I am not saying it is not salvageable, it's just they lack the ability (in respect to available man hours and possibly talent) to do so.

What's been problematic about Frostbite, btw? Jason Schreier goes over it a bit in this Kotaku article: kotaku.com/the-story-behind-mass-effect-andromedas-troubled-five-1795886428tl;dr Frostbite is a VERY powerful game engine capable of producing extraordinary visuals as shown by Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2. However, Frostbite's very hard to work with. DICE knows it pretty well because it's been their engine for years, but even they managed to produce a shithole of a game with it (BF4). I believe Bioware said they had trouble getting Frostbite to work with Inquisition, and it happened again with Andromeda. Even though the Inquisition team had made some necessary improvements to Frostbite, not all could be used by the Andromeda team, including the animation rig. A developer Schreier interviews puts it this way, "Frostbite is a sports car. Not even a sports car, a Formula 1. When it does something well, it does it extremely well. When it doesn’t do something, it really doesn’t do something." In fact, Frostbite doesn't come with a built-in animation rig. An animation rig has basically been "duct taped" to Frostbite to compensate.
