Parallels between Dead Space 3 and Mass Effect Andromeda

Deadspace was going to be shut down before it even launched. There's also the rumor that the chapters spelling out "RIP" was pretty much a sendoff or last goodbye to the franchise and the fans leftover that still cared to play.

honestly DS3 getting a DLC like awakened(the only dlc it got) really isn't good support that Andromeda would get any DLC. I'd go to other EA titles that haven't been shutdown to show that support cause it really isn't profitable making DLC for franchises closing down, they're closing down for a reason (not making money)

To play devil's advocate, there is no specificity in whatever "future" there is for the IP or Andromeda itself. It could just mean MP content, comics, and books, and maybe looking at a reboot down the road, or it could mean DLC and a sequel. I'm certainly hoping for the latter, but it could also mean the former.

Lying to investors would be something like saying you still have faith in Bioware and then closing it down or laying off a bunch of people a week later because the company really wasn't doing well.

Lying about actual financials, or things that would affect the stock value.  Investors really only care about high level anyway.  Overall earnings, overall sales, etc.  Everything isn't always going to be good all at the same time, but as long as the overall financial health and outlook of the company is good they don't care whether ME:A gets SP DLC or not.

They didn't even mention ME:A in the earnings release, and he also said more content was to come, including additions to MP, which they've done.  So no way that could even be a lie anyway.  It's obvious they care about the MP component more, because those are likely the people that will be playing Anthem.

But why didnt they bring this up earlier? Why wait for an analyst to bring up MEA before EA talked about it? I mean, it was the only AAA game released in that quarter....it should have been the 1st thing they talked about, especially if it was something they were satisifed with.

I severely doubt Quarantine got banned. He was very civil after Sofa'n chat and refused to talk about the incident again in threads, only PM's. My guess, he started getting harassed by others and decided to start over or take a break. Unless Sofa or one of the other mods wants to correct me? Could be a valuable lesson on what not to do on the Forums, but again my guess is that Quarantine left on their own accord. Same with Fluffy.

Yeah they most likely left because they chose to.

Hopefully to contemplate about his attitude on that subject.
