As the title says: what's the most emotional moment for you in MET? What made you cry and/or laugh the most? For me, there were a multitude of great moments which touched me deeply. However, there is one which raises above them all: Rannoch.First time on, Tali committed suicide and Legion sacrificed itself. The second time, I was able to broker peace between Quarians and the Geth, and for some reason this was even more touching - to see how the two races could lay down their animosity to oppose the common enemy. The final moments of Priority: Rannoch was the only time I teared up during the PT. Hands-down the best mission in MET and probably the best level in any videogame I've ever played. "Does this unit have a soul?" <--- The greatest line.

I haven't had the suicide yet, but there are lots of other moments that were really emotional for me. The opening sequence of ME3 really gets me, especially as the Normandy is taking off. Eve's speech to the Krogan. Shepard's reaction to the defeat on Thessia (not so much Liara's reaction ) The goodbyes on Earth, especially with Garrus and Liara. The last scene of the Citadel DLC (post-party).

I don't even need Eve's speech, that music is enough on it's own, to make this an awesome moment. We've had a couple of these topics but I'll just write it again: The ME1 Endgame and the Alliance coming in to save the day (especially when you save the council). I know I am an old softie for old cliches for going with that moment but it's just so goddamn epic! It's great, period. Also, the ending to Overlord is heart breaking to me. I don't even personally know anyone with a similar condition as David suffers from closely myself but everything in that scene is so well timed and voice acted, it makes for a real throat-clogger (is that a word?). As for the post party scenes in Citadel, I just went through those recently with CEM installed and they are just THE perfect conclusion to a 2.5 month trilogy run. See here (last paragraph).

Legion's "Does this unit have a soul?"
Wrex saying that 'Shepard' will mean 'hero' forever after to the krogan.
I'll post more as they come to me. I'm in ME1 right now. Don't think there's anything in the first game that stands out emotionally.

Very sad. Came close to shedding a tear. It doesn't bother me now after having completed many low ems runs

Ugh, I have a lot of those I didn't cry during all of these, but they still had an effect on me. ME1: The Talitha sidequest. Her VA is so so good. ME2: - When Tali finds her father dead - The end of Overlord - When you send Tali through the vents but plan to kill her... her line "I won't disappoint you" paired with her voice, ugh ME3: - When Mordin dies, especially shooting him in the back - Eve's funeral scene if the cure data is not saved in ME2 - When Shepard continues the prayer during Thane's death scene - When I couldn't broker peace on Rannoch, sided with the quarians and Tali got upset because she had called Legion a friend (this will probably forever be my favourite outcome, it's just so good) - Miranda's death scene when she has been wounded by Kai Leng - The talk with Javik about his memory shard - Citadel DLC romance scene at the apartment with Jack - When Joker was the one after the Citadel party to talk to me when going back to the Normandy, and you realise he's got no one left from his family and are going for Destroy (I don't even like Joker that much, but that scene got me teary-eyed); the last scene in general is rather emotional for me though with any LI (so far I like Kaidan and Jack most) - The FOB scenes in London with Kaidan and Garrus, especially when romanced - The evac scene, as stupid as it is, but it just hurts saying goodbye to the squaddie that mattered most to your Shep - The ending. First time I played I already started crying when Shep got hit by the beam, and I didn't stop for nearly an hour or so (this was pre-EC, though that doesn't exactly make it happier ); the Anderson scene was also a nice touch

Most emotional moment, hmm. ME1 - a toss up between the death at Virmire (shit) and the ending where I thought Shepard wouldn't make it; I threw up my hands and went yay, when she appeared. ME2 - Overlord conclusion. Well dang you, I'd just love to shoot you doc but not in front of your bro so I'll just let you go. ME3 - Mordin Solus's death. I'm sorry you have to go but you've been looking to make amends. You'll be missed.

Just look at that Shepard People going totally nuts about his face in the comments section. I mean, it's great how people actually go out of their way to make ugly Shepards on those "bad ending" runs BTW, is it actually possible to survive the Suicide Mission without doing any loyalty missions and upgrades? Or will everyone always die, leaving Joker to save the galaxy?

BTW, is it actually possible to survive the Suicide Mission without doing any loyalty missions and upgrades? Or will everyone always die, leaving Joker to save the galaxy? I think it's possible if you always pick the squadmates to die first that provide the fewest points for the survival calculation. Zaeed, Garrus and Grunt are worth the most even when unloyal, so they need to be kept alive under any circumstances. So for example... Jack, Kasumi and Thane die with no upgrades. Send Tali through the vents, Tali dies. Fireteam leader will always survive. For the bubble team, pick Samara for bubble duty, and Legion + anyone but Garrus and Miranda for the team, Legion dies. Have Miranda lead the 2nd Fireteam, she will survive even if unloyal. Don't send anyone back with the crew. Final battle, bring Mordin and anyone but Zaeed, Garrus and Grunt. Both squadmates die. Let's pretend Jacob was taken to the final fight. Zaeed, Grunt, Garrus, Miranda and Samara hold the line without casualties. I think In case anyone's wondering, there's this neat calculation pic around on the internet, which I like to use for making plans

Most of my most emotional moments have already been mentioned by you guys already but I also have to add: * seeing Shepard spaced at the start of ME2 - the first time I played it I was both wtf and upset because I thought we were seeing a flashforward of ME2's ending * I don't know why, but seeing Liara seemingly overwhelmed, upset and breathless at the end of the Shadow Broker fight made me want to hug her * in ME2 listening to Erinya talk about her daughters dying * in ME2 seeing the Normandy crash land onto the Collector base - not so emotional but hate seeing the Normandy cop it lol * in ME3 hearing Traynor tell you that she was on Horizon during the Collector attack * in ME3 hearing Wrex say: "I want you to know that no matter what happens, you've been a champion to the krogan people. A friend of Clan Urdnot. And a brother/sister to me. To every krogan born after this day, the name 'Shepard' will mean 'hero!' Now let's show them why."
and
"A long time ago, my father betrayed me in this place. His own son. He tried to kill me. So I had to kill him. Right over there. That's what the genophage reduced us to. Animals. But you changed that today, Shepard."

- ME1: Entire battle of the Citadel. Its so epic. And then the part where you think Shepard dies and he/she emerges from the wreckage. The music just makes the scene 50 times better factually. - ME2: Renegade Shepard speech while on the Collector Base. Really great motivation speech. - ME2: Escaping the Collectors Base (it makes it more bittersweet with casualties) and the final talk with TIM. I particularly love when Shep tells him off about "doing what you brought me back to do" also. - ME3: Tuchancka where you help Wrex cure the Genophage and he calls you his brother. He's the true bro of the series, not Garrus. - ME3: Tali's voice breaking and her half sobbing when her whole fleet is destroyed on top of Legion's sacrifice. - ME3: "Goodbye Thane. You won't be alone long." - ME3: Entire Citadel DLC is quite funny and makes you feel good. - ME3: Jack's tattoo scene. - ME3: The last talk with Kaidan or Ash before the final battle. "I can't lose you again" with Kaidan. And when broshep quotes Tennyson with Ash. And then Shep later saying "let's get it done, and go home." To which Ash slightly chuckles and says "Aye Aye Captain." - ME3: Final goodbye with Kaidan, Tali or Ash when running to the beam. Kaidan's is particularly sad. I'm a straight guy, but those sad puppy dog eyes man. You can tell he really loves Shep. - ME3: All the soldier who got obliterated getting to the beam and Anderson's death. - ME3: Destroy ending in general and all possibilities. Low EMS is or Shepard dying but saving the galaxy are particularly the most emotional. And I think I got most of them. I just noticed like 90% of these are from ME3.

Starting a second playthrough, NG+ with my canon Shepard.
My first playthrough of the trilogy was back in 2014, as I recall. After that, I didn't play the trilogy again until 2016 apart from dipping into the Armax Arena occasionally, though did play a lot of multiplayer in the meantime.
I started my second playthrough during 2016. Seeing my canon Shepard in the ME1 prologue after so long hit me right in the feels. As I recall, I greeted her aloud.

Playing ME3 without a save file and watching Miranda die. That shit hit me hard, I might have had a couple of very manly tears sliding down my cheeks. 2nd to that would be breaking up with Miranda in ME3. I could never fully go through with it. I would always end up reloading up an old save file.
