I find internet-exclusive terms/insults to enrage others to be silly and childish. It is equivalent to a 6 year old kid calling me a poopy-head.

Perhaps not but I have yet to hear anyone say any of that in-person. I only read that kind of language on places like FB and Youtube. Where there is a lack of intelligence and social skills.

I've found that when anyone uses an insult the conversation has already devolved beyond logic and reason.

I agree with you guys completely I find it really stupid... insulting people once or twice I think most people do, but do it consistently and I find it childish and troll-like, I mean seriously, trying to provoke or offend people online thats the actual definition of a troll (I just checked) , I wish that people were taught better manners Luckily it isnt much of a problem for me, it isnt like Id be friends with someone who spent their internet time insulting people, but it still sucks... eh, still... it makes them look worse than anything else

I do want to say that there is a distinction between a troll and someone who just upset and being childish about it. That being intention. Trolls go out of their way because they know they will upset people from the get-go, and do it for laughs. The latter is genuinely upset they can't convey their points or provide a proper argument, so they resort to insults and derogatory remarks.
I feel like RPG's are going to fucking suck in the future. DA:4 is gonna suck when it out. The Elder Scrolls series is gonna suck.
