I know. I was thinking more along the lines of degenerative brains. I think women have quite a long list of things they find attractive in others. Looks may be somewhere close to to the top of the list, true. But there are a lot of others factors like intelligence, humour , money.Men on the other hand...  Oh boy, I can't speak for other men but looks is like only 50% of the whole package that is attractiveness. Thats why I'm relatively meh about all the good looking actresses. Yeah sure, some may be looking very good but I can't say they're attractive since I don't know any of their other important qualities. |

Not sure if this is really unpopular these days anymore, as things have been getting better, but here goes. I think even if someone you know doesn't have a positive opinion about how you do something or something that you like and enjoy, it shouldn't be really an issue. It's not anything off you, you do not have to please everyone. Feel empowered by it and move on, you do not have to convert everyone in your social circle into your way of thinking about everything.
Saves you drama and bitterness.
