Also, I like giving likes to opinions regardless of how I feel about a poster and how a poster might feel about me. If the opinion is good, it shouldn't matter who said it. I can count on a like on all my posts regardless of how I behave then.

At the risk of sounding hip, I tend to avoid foods and drink that are supported by ad budgets. We eat oatmeal (from a large can, eggs, fruit and drink coffee and tea in preference to sodas and packaged foods. I spend more time cooking, but we are under the delusion that it's healthier and it's definitely a lot cheaper.

I initially misread that first hashtag as "so I peed in my new pants" and now I'm disappointed I didn't get that story.

I never liked soda or any other carbonated/fizzled beverages. I do not enjoy eating food without a carbonated beverage to wash it down with... Drink a lot of tea and water during the day but always have a Ginger Ale, Dr. Pepper, or Coke with meals.

I'd go even further and say not all people are equal. There is some very worthless individuals out there. Absolutely, but the question is who decides and then what is to be done? I think in the end it all boils down to one thing: all things considered, does the person harm or help society? The more a person helps society/mankind the more valuable he or she is, those who don't contribute, can't contribute or don't care are worth less. Extreme example, Einstein sure as hell is worth more than a random drunk basement dweller who lives off of welfare. Of course you can argue what ''helping society'' really is and in some cases its hard to say, I think thats something society as a whole should decide. Yes, thats extremely unfair to those who cannot contribute due to reasons like health, but newsflash - reality has never been fair, the very principle of life is unfair. If an asteroid is about to destroy earth and you have only a little rocket with very limited cargo capacity who do you rescue?

The soundtracks of every game should be accessible inside the game folder (Like Civilization 4 and 5). No one should pay again for the soundtracks that are already included in the game.

I used to think I was a manly man of McManland. Ever since having my two girls I cry at any advert that shows children in danger or losing parents. For example:
I know they are emotionally manipulative and designed to provoke a response (and well done to them for doing so) but I have realised that as a man (and a parent) it is OK to cry and be upset. I know this goes against a lot of the idealised version of men that is portrayed in other advertising and the media, but fuck it. I'm human and I feel and it is OK.
One of my darkest memories is from only 6 months ago. I was trying to call an ambulance as my eldest was fitting and turning bluein the face. I was so upset I could not speak to the operator to tell them our address. It's making me cry just recalling it now, but I know that it is OK to do so and nothing to be ashamed of.

Dude, I feel your pain. Got two boys, myself and anytime I see, hear or read of kids being hurt or suffering it takes a great deal of willpower to not turn into a choked up mess. Doesn't matter if it's real or fictional, either.

Oh, absolutely vonuber. I would think it's even more manly to value kids/family enough, that you would show raw emotion towards them like that than to remain so concerned for social stereotypes and your manly image, that you remain stoic at a time when you see/think abou kids/family being in danger or hurting. It shows you can care about others as well as yourself. The oddest thing is how other kids suddenly feel like they're your own.

If an asteroid is about to destroy earth and you have only a little rocket with very limited cargo capacity who do you rescue? What if the value that someone contributes to society is tied to the value that another person provides? For instance, would a brilliant scientist's loving and supportive spouse be worth more than a bank teller's loving and supportive spouse, despite both of them performing the same role in the same capacity? In fact, what about the brilliant scientist's bedridden mother and the healthy and diligent bank teller herself? Even though the former actively contributes nothing in the physical sense, it could be argued that her emotional significance to the scientist make her more valuable than even those who can provide physical contributions.
