Bezos could have run his business in a more humane way AND do space flights - that's how successful amazon is. But instead he decided on being an evil greedy fucker. Problem is, most successful people are psychopaths, that's how they get to the top in the first place, so no surprises here. In the unpopular opinion thread, this is actually an ugly truth. Yuck.

Unpopular opinion: Gotta say, arguing on the Internet has its perks. Whenever I feel like letting off some steam, I'd just stir up some trouble on some form of social media platform, be it YouTube or some Internet messageboard (though I avoid doing so in this one), and just argue with someone to get that adrenaline pumping. Sure, I might get flagged or banned, but it feels good to wreck someone else's day just because mine got wrecked. *shrugs* Simple pleasures. As long as you don't find yourself wrecking your own day, getting heated for no reason when someone fights back. This is the definition of passive aggression, just so you know, and does not present well for you. Try to work on this - confront what bothers you where it bothers you. This is what I do, and it hasn't really made me the most popular guy, but people always know where I stand and I am consistent. This really works for some people, and I stay busy despite being a little "hard to work with". I'm not hard to work with, I simply have high expectations and if they aren't lived up to I am vocal. This saves me from getting on Reddit and screaming into the abyss like a drunken asshole. YMMV.

They're willing to waste their time amusing me with cliched insults I've heard a dozen times? Not my problem. And if I'm not in the mood to entertain them? Then I simply don't browse the respective website and see their response. No aggression acquired when I'm not bored enough to require it. It's like porn, but it's a more interactive experience f***ing with people. But you know, as they say, don't s*** in your own backyard. I do require a few safespaces to hang around when I'm in need of peace and tranquility, which is why I try to turn my a-hole mode off around these parts. Out there on YouTube and Reddit, however? It's the Wild West, free to say anything and get away with it. It's a good life. I can't tell you how easy it is to just barge into a YouTube comment chain and say something stupid and easily provoke a series of rambling, drunken, barely coherent retorts. The Internet is a nasty place, but it rewards well for those who know how to manipulate it. And they'll hang around that argument, spending days or weeks waiting for my response, while I, check in every few weeks or months whenever I'm bored. Amusing. Or as Al Pacino put it in "The Devil's Advocate", "Vanity, definitely my favorite sin." Sure, passive-aggressiveness might not win me any friends, but I've lived long enough not having friends since elementary school anyway that I don't see why I should bother working so hard going through therapies and taking meds to keep me doused on some kind of banal normality people convince themselves to be worthy of. Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven, or rather, if you can't join them, poke them with a stick and make them rage. Or to put it in another way, I've lived so long being used to fighting and arguing with others since I was a kid that I don't really know how to be anyone else. I've accepted that. Better to accept it rather than pour so much money struggling on through therapist platitudes and Xanax. Some people are perfectly content being a massive bitch to others after all.

You can't always choose your lot in life, but you can take what few pleasures you're given amidst the shitpile. Edgy. Without knowing you, my knee jerk here is to dismiss you. This is an immature, and frankly ridiculous, attitude. The pleasure you speak of is hollow, and the vast majority of us are dealt a shit hand. You feel sorry for yourself, and get a good feeling off of being an asshole. Thanks for this information, I will be blocking you now - your bullshit isn't interesting or original.

Get off your moral high ground and block me all you like, I'll return the favor. Just another idiot off the Internet I won't remember. Sigh, I'm honestly disappointed to be honest. Such a lazy and generic response preaching with the same ol' pointless words, edgy, blah blah blah, immature. Per-lease. Spare me the banal sentiments. At least make it entertaining, would ya? I expected better from you, frankly speaking, that you would at least have the wisdom not to go down such a predictable route. But alas, some people are just so full of themselves. Vanity, definitely my favorite sin. See, this is exactly why I find such pleasure in your type of response and your type of self-righteous moron than feel anything else. Sooner or later, one of the idiots like you would get triggered and blow up like I knew you would, so rather than blowing up myself, why not just find pleasure and 'lol' it away instead? LOL I find it the perfect solution to dealing with the denizens of the Internet. An amusing way to spend time, I'll admit, and a good way to rub my own ego, pat myself on the back, feel good about myself. Not a bad hobby, if I may say so myself.

Whatever you had to say, it's frankly too late. I don't really care anymore. Hurl your insults, hurl your apologies if you actually had the humility to do that; I've blocked you, I can't see your petty little words, and that's all that matters. You're nothing to me.
Actually, the fact that you bothered to create a response at all kinda tells me that you probably bothered to display my post in spite of boasting about blocking me. So not only are you a moron, but you're a hypocrite as well. Pity. See, me? I don't bother checking out what my enemies have to say. I only pay attention to what I have to say.
Sayonara, pal.

Hmm, depending what it means to be a ''good leader''.
What about leading a squad in a military operation? Empathy for your men has a huge impact on morale and fighting effectiveness. Keeping your men safe, knowing what's going on in their head and being a charismatic empathic, trustworthy, selfless person helps tremendously. Those are exactly the qualities psychopaths lack.
Under special circumstances a ruthless taskmaster with a whip CAN be a good military leader, but that's more of an exception, especially these days, past Vietnam & WWII. We're no longer sending thousands of soldiers to their deaths in human wave attacks.

Merely saying βitβs ugly because they rule the world yet are bad at itβ would be a good enough answer (even though it doesnβt make any sense any other way). I do not understand why he feels the need to get mad.

This thread isn't really the place for me anymore. Thanks for all the fish!
Edit: Not mad, just bothered by questions that have obvious answers. You finished the thought process out just fine by yourself, as I expected in the first place. This is my failing - sometimes I assume context will lead people to the correct place on their own. In this regard, I become an unreliable narrator, so my apologies.
In my education on the subject, I have most psychopaths to be good for one thing - burying.
