Sports at elite level are bad for you and your life. I always crack up when people show elite athletes drugged & roided out of their freaking minds when they want to give an example for fitness and a healthy lifestyle. Sadly, the general population has absolutely no idea how fitness really works and get their ideas from idiotic sports brochures that only want to sell their newest joke fitness program and instagram which is just another platform to market peoples stupid lies. Its just sad-

On a related note: I don't like sports. I don't mean I don't enjoy physical activity, and I certainly love games of pretty much any sort (video, board, roleplaying, and even physical ones), but that I don't like sports—which to me include stuff like chess and competitive Starcraft. I enjoy games because I like to chill and, if I'm playing with others, to spend time with friends. But people who like sports usually take them way too seriously and competitively for me to find them fun. And more often than not, I'd rather play myself than watch strangers do so, no matter how good they are.

Timothy Dalton was the best James Bond actor. He was cool, calculating and IMO the most attractive of all the actors.

I remember thinking Timothy Dalton would become a fantastic Bond. My expectations were perhaps too great, because I ended up disappointed. But yea, he was good. Could have deserved better writing. I also remember thinking Piers Brosnan would become a horrible Bond. But actually, I think he did a very decent job.
To me, it was Roger Moore that defined Bond (I kinda think of the rest as some kind of necessary imposters). Though I think he got a bit too woody and old in the last ones. Also to me, Daniel Craig is the best Bond. But I think he has maybe also benefitted from better writing.

I think Bioware should have stopped on Mass Effect 3. Not because MEA turned out to be bad. It was just a correct time to do it. In fact I suspect that was their intention from the start. They told a story of Commander Sheppard, who dies at the end. They let us defeat the greatest threat to Galaxy imaginable. They gave conclusion to every major plotline and character arc. And they created several equally canonical but entirely different(in their effect on the world) endings. It was a perfect opportunity to end the story and move on. But then fans cried for more Mass Effect and corporate greed prevailed.

The problem is that Bioware seems to be incapable of making new successful franchises - they're stuck with their old games and the only thing left for them is to either expand on them or make polished versions of their old games. Just look at that Anthem debacle, every fan could see that this game would suck when they released their first couple bits of info and they went into full denial anyway.

"Vapor ware Unicorns" We've already accelerated projectiles at several times the speed of sound at sea level, with railguns at long distances, horizontally - so air would not get thinner. So much for the heat - the projectiles did not disintegrate nor melt. Also, NASA is already working on scramjet missiles going several times the speed of sound at very low altitude, partly do design a system that can intercept incoming low altitude missiles. He is comparing the system with mach 2 velocity battleship cannons systems basically from the 1900s which is just dumb. Another thing to consider is air gets thinner very quickly, at about 4500 meters above sea level -which the projectile would cover in a couple seconds- air is already 50% thinner, it simply does not have enough time to heat up a lot. About the missile leaving the tube thumbling - thats to be expected. They should make the projectile spin on its axis, that's how we stabilize projectiles in guns. Without rifling in the barrel projectiles would not spin and thumble all over the place. There is some projectiles that are fin stabilized, like in smoothbore tank cannons, but they are very complex and basically need a barrel with contact surfaces to work right. I'm not a fan of this system as it would be super HYPER complex to get it right and working, but the guy in the video is full of shit. Also, I want to mention the Nike sprint Missile system, mach 10 in 5 seconds.

It is the cooking plate. The heat will be created in the skin. Sprint was already above the worst, when the speed reached max. And still it glowed like a meteor It was made of Carboncarbon. And there are a ton of other problems.

Kinda scared to post this.
As somebody with ASD, I really don't like Sandal. Actually, scratch that; Sandal himself is fine, but I don't like the way his autism is portrayed. He's a hurtful stereotype and I hate that his disability is treated like a joke, especially in DA2. It portrays his behaviors, and by extension, my behaviors, as something to be laughed at. I always feel really uncomfortable interacting with him because of this. I'm relieved that Bioware has decided to move on from this character. I just wish the fandom would do the same...

I value you opinion but I disagree with it.
First of all since when was there a diagnosis of him being autistic?
Second of all I for one never think a solution is to just hide away people with issues and pretend they do not exist.
In my books he was a humorous and beloved character that did great things and had more power and mystery and a story to tell than many other characters. I think more than a few people would agree with this.

First of all since when was there a diagnosis of him being autistic? Sandal displays a number of typical neurodivergent characteristics, like: clapping when he's happy or excited, short and repetitive speech, being slow to respond to verbal attempts to get his attention, general unresponsiveness to his surroundings and even wandering off without concern for his safety, speaking with an unusual tone of voice that may sound sing-songish or robotic (this is especially obvious in DA2, in which it seems like the actor went out of his way to make Sandal sound delayed, which I really hated), and fixating on an object or activity with unusual intensity or focus/being fascinated with the details of said object or activity. I do some of these things, too. That's what I could think of off the top of my head.
Additionally, the DA fan wiki describes him as "unable to care for himself and [having] a limited mental capacity for common tasks (such as conversation, where he usually replies with one word answers), while excelling at enchanting and runecrafting." I interpret this as enchanting being his Special Interest.
Beyond that, somebody with more technical know-how than me was able to dig into the DAO Toolset, and here's what they found in the conversation notes about Sandal:
By the look of it, the writers intended him to be this way. The behaviors I listed above are supposed to be Sandal being an idiot. They're supposed to be him being "funny." This is hurtful. This is not okay. Second of all I for one never think a solution is to just hide away people with issues and pretend they do not exist.
I agree, but if Sandal were to return, he shouldn't be treated as stupid or comic relief. And honestly? I don't have a lot of faith in Bioware to portray him accurately and sensitively. I also feel that a lot of fans would be upset at any changes to Sandal's writing. Gamers are finnicky that way. In my books he was a humorous and beloved character that did great things and had more power and mystery and a story to tell than many other characters. I think more than a few people would agree with this.
I like Sandal. He's a sweet, talented young man and his relationship with his adoptive dad, who is, incidentally, very supportive and accepting, is very heartwarming. I just don't like the way he's treated in the games. I don't find him humorous, either. The "humor" used with Sandal feels too much like "haha look he's disabled let's make fun of how weird he is." It's very otherizing.
And while I'm not a fan of the countless fan theories out there speculating that he's secretly a god in disguise or the Maker or whatever, I do think there's more going on with him. Sandal is theorized in-universe to be half-dwarven, and considering that Bodahn found him in an ancient shrine somewhere in the Deep Roads, it's possible he might have some connection to a Titan. It's possible that what happened to Valta might also have happened to him.
Or, he could just be an autistic young man with an extreme love and talent for enchanting. Sandal is probably just Sandal, and that's okay. I don't see why there needs to be some other mystical explanation for his abilities. Feels a little like a slight to disabled people.
To close out, I realize that Sandal is a character who is much-beloved by the fandom, and since this is an unpopular opinions thread, I don't expect anybody to agree with me. This is something I feel strongly about, however, and am not going to change my mind on. But thanks for disagreeing politely and not calling me names or making fun of me for being "too sensitive" or "too politically correct." I hope my answers to your questions are sufficient even if they don't change your opinion.

ThatDamnableRogue if you highlight with left mouse drag a portion of a text that you want to respond to, a button "Quick Quote" will appear. Click on it and it will create a quote of that text with all attributes like a regular quote button would do: o close out, I realize that Sandal is a character who is much-beloved by the fandom, Very useful when you want to respond to several points in someone's post. If you need to significantly modify your post, click "More Reply Options" then "BBCode". In this mode you see HTML-like tags like [ quote] [ /quote] instead of actual formatting of a post, its easier to work with text displayed like that.

I’m confused. Is there a reason I should not format my post that way? It looked readable to me on both desktop and mobile Its readable, but probably less readable and more of a hustle to write than a post made with a method I suggested earlier. I assumed that you might not know about it, given that you are rather new to the forum, and thought it might be a useful tip for you, nothing more. Compare to: I’m confused. Anchovies on pizza are delicious.
Also the Romeo's near my grama's makes a pretty good Hawaiian pizza. It's not my fav but it's not bad either. (Yes I'm Canadian and I eat pizza with pineapple on it.)
