I think feminism is fine and many people involved have some decent points.
Though of course, extremists ruin everything. I just wish there was more attention to moderate, reasonable points of view. Much to my regret, those aren't nearly as fun to argue about, so when I say I'm a feminist, people assume I'm a man-hating whackdoo who only reads books with female protagonists by female writers. I also quite like social justice. It beats social injustice!
And I don't want to get in an internet shouting match. I don't enjoy annoying people. I'd rather make a dumb joke and move on. MODERATE WARRIOR, HARRUGH!

That kinda sounds like me haha Decision making isnt a strong point for me... and as well as what you said like for example if you said 'what is your favorite color' id say purple... because ive had time and experience to develop that response... but sometimes if someone would ask me to make a decision about what my favorite something is that ive never been asked before then ill often either not have an opinion about it or spend forever debating with myself about what I actually think only to come to an indecisive answer  |

Probably an unpopular opinion here but I don't like feminists that much. I mean, I do believe that women should have some equality but I'm still very old fashioned in my beliefs and I believe that the man is the man of the house while the woman always has the right to speak her mind ofc, no suppression. It's a bit hard for me to explain in English what I mean without stepping on someone's toes but I just like it if the man is one step above somehow, taking charge of the family kind of thing but without that demeaning of the woman thing, if that makes sense lol. And about the hitting a woman thing: It's never right to hit a woman, never. Domestic violence is a no go. A man will always be stronger than a woman, that's a fact and no matter what she does she will be helpless towards him once he starts the violence towards her. I suggest those who are for the violence against a woman to try and get your heads banged up against the wall and end up with brain damage for life, go through 8 brain surgeries ( so far ) because of the husband and then come back here and say it's okay. Okay, and what if a woman attacks a man with a weapon or otherwise physically assaults him? Should he just sit there and take it and risk possible injury or death? I'm anti-violence in general, but if someone is hitting me and trying to hurt me, I will not hesitate to make them stop, especially if they have a weapon. Obviously not by killing them or anything (unless they're trying to kill me and I'm defending myself), but just by subduing them. It doesn't matter what kind of genitalia the person might have, if they attack me, they get knocked the fuck down. |

People just get so worked up about the most extreme possible interpretation of what someone's saying. You could say "I like blueberry pie" and it'd be like "WHY DO YOU HATE ALL OTHER PIES." And then you'd be like "Blueberry pie is the best" and then it's an internet fight because there's not room for blueberry pie lovers and pecan pie lovers in this world. |
