There is LotR, but I don't think that could be credited as entirely a gaming fantasy universe.

That is something that is linked to what mostly bothers me on internet. It's how many who complain about SJW try to ignore or willingly hide the valid points of a valid cause, try to blindly defend injustices by constantly showing extremists,as if that was enough to tell " see, they are extremists, so there are no issues in the society, it's a lie, move on. " I've seen this mindset a lot of times on internet. Injustice is injustice. Whether there are some extremists or not out there, if there are facts, if there are real issues, then you have to work over them, it's a moral duty. You can deal firmly with the extremists, you can decide to not take them seriously, etc, but that doesn't mean you can ignore what is wrong. If there are things that can be improved, then it's time to get to work and to improve things. 

I mean, you don't have to be a pro-feminist, to be furiously engaged against domestic violences against women for example, when you learn that it is very high in your country. It's wrong. So if a woman who happens to be a feminist on internet claims that something has to be done , you don't need to be negative and reactive, because she is a feminist, claiming " omg why this focus on women, men suffer too, there are domestic violences against them too, it's sexist. " I'm not joking, i've seen this kind of reaction everywhere, whether on this topic or over something else. And I always shake my head. That's totally beside the point. When there is a real issue on a specific topic, everyone should be supportive.

Also maybe there will be less extremists once you have showed that you take care of the core issues and that you are not ignoring them actually. But like implicitly said in the post quoted, it would be better to focus on the moderate folks. 

I'm not at all a SJW, I'm mostly a moderate and I don't like extremism actually. But I also strongly dislike injustice and i'm not used to ignore real issues when I am able to see them. Sometimes, it's understandable when some seem to be a bit too passionate defending their case. Sometime, it's worth it. I know myself my own limit. I know that a fascist government and fascists laws targetting specific communities would be able to make me turn into something else than a moderate guy for example. We have all something that could trigger us. 


Yeah. I'd also add that people are overreacting too much over trivial things.

Being a Social Justice Warrior or Advocate does not automatically make you a 'triggered gender-queer feminazi fighting against the oppression of men who open the door for a woman.' I'll just put that one out there.

The difference between an SJW and an activist.
An activist tries to get a ramp installed next to some stairs for easier access for the disabled.
A SJW tries to get the stairs removed cause it might offend people who cant use them.

People have been playing chess for more than 1000+ years which is essentially moving pieces on a 8x8 board. Simpletons amiright?

It's not the hair color that is important. It's hair quantity and its quality on the head that are!
