Deadpool movie was super boring. Antman was better. Dr. Strange was better. Lot's of stuff was better. *shrugs*

And that's exactly what it is.. A "brand".

Before the game was even announced, they had a survey floating about, if you recall. "What does N7 mean to you?" They had this mentality even back then.. some shoddy attempt at salvaging a brand from that trainwreck.

I hear good things about SWTor, but I feel so exhausted at the idea of MMOs. Played many in the mid-2000s.

I'm an old comic fan, and even I'm burned out on those films. But yeah, Deadpool is good. Haven't seen Dr. Strange though..

Honestly at this point SWTOR is practically a single player game. Switch off the chat box and never need to acknowledge other players ever again.

That's some impressive precognition you have there. Can you tell me the winning lottery numbers too?

ME:A might suck story wise (with Walters still in charge, "might" is a courtesty) but I've seen nothing that says Andromeda definitively won't feel like Mass Effect. And hey, at least in Andromeda you're not being forced to carry a weapon you can't properly use anymore because "durr melee class".

Have you read the press release of the game? MEA hover in between ME1 and ME2. Nothing past that point will have any significance to the plot and will be more removed like a spin-off. Nothing you do in the trilogy would have an effect because its being excised out of the main trilogy and settings. Nobody you meet or anything you do in ME2 and ME3 will show up in MEA. Shepard and Milky Way is just ancient history.

You may get familiar technology, gameplay and alien races to represent their people but that's pretty much it. You're stuck with whatever you learn about them in ME1 and nothing change especially for the situation regarding Krogan and Quarians (which is Patrick Weekes territory). It will be just a new exploratory scifi shooter game with another all-powerful alien threat, with more family issues and romance and hero's journey and received leadership without effort. Its the Dragon Age II and Halo for the Mass Effect franchise. Its a refresh button intended to appeal to new players to play their game.

I don't need precognition just to see what was being done. I won't get automatically hyped just because I like the trilogy and see a familiar brand. 

I liked Deadpool, but think that it's pretty overrated. I'd rather overlook that though because the movie was also made on a much slimmer budget, and for the most part, it shows (to the movie's credit, it even makes a joke about that). I think that Ryan Reynolds can sometimes be rather tiresome when he's playing a character that's constantly on. I love Ant-Man, and [insert unpopular opinion], I think that it's actually a better overall movie than most of the previous films in the MCU canon, and [insert another unpopular opinion] I think that Doctor Strange is the best of the lot, surpassing the likes of the Avengers and even both Captain America sequels.

Lets hope you're right.

Its just a simplification really but you'll feel it when you start to see everyone as a version of Miranda, EDI, Jacob, Garrus, Jack, Illusive Man, Samara, Morinth, Saren....  and if you play as Female Trooper, when everyone refers you as Commander... and then it became too much and you end up replaying the trilogy again.

The gameplay is similar keybind/clicker MMO but the multiplayer part is optional.

You know what? At first I was really depressed. Then I realized something pretty awesome: it's ON YOU. 

I think a lot of us will sit back and relax and watch the shit show. I know I'll be working on the local front in some way in politics within the next year and up- and also- I'll be enjoying TF out of my life and hopefully we won't all die from a post apocalypse scenario. 

I'm going to train with weapons on the gun range, learn how to swim, and work out and get into local politics. 

This may mean I'm only a clerk at some office volunteering, IDGAF, I will contribute because sometime down the line we will be needed.
