They had ONE GTX 1070 on sale below 400 bucks in Germany on Friday. ONE.
...which I ended up buying even though I didn't want it. And that's why all of this sucks and is basically a scam. Only shit brands/models or outdated crap that nobody would ever buy otherwise go on sale. In fact, last year the PS4 was MORE expensive around Black Friday than the weeks before. I watched this whole circus from the sidelines.
But I've finally had enough, been waiting for over two months after I sold my 970 for the good custom models of the 1070 to go down in price. I want to game again.

So now I own a MSI Armor OC (again, lol) for 380 EUR that will probably have heat issues like usual. It's currently out of stock btw because how could the online shop that sells it anticipate that it would sell out when discounted, right?

Thank you, Nvidia for your criminal pricing monopoly, and thank you Black Friday for offering nothing worth getting....

It really is. I can't get enough of this show. 

Also, Ramin Djawadi really captures a great feel for this show through his score. He does such great work for Game of Thrones; I'm glad HBO has him around to do more.

This one got recommended to me a lot and I saw a Nerdwriter piece about it on youtube which was very interesting so I decided to give it a shot. And ho-lee fuck the first episode was amazing! There's so much depth and the characters are all fantastically done. And I have the whole season ahead of me, so it's like Christmas came early!!

I do not listen to 99.99% music. I find music to be dull overall; especially ones with lyrics. The only music that interests me are some classical music and a few movie soundtracks in which I rarely listen to anymore.

I don't get concerts. Paying upwards of $50-$100 to listen to less-refined versions of songs you get online for free, filtered through a noisy crowd of obnoxious strangers. If I want to listen to something, I'll take a decent pair of headphones and a comfortable recliner over a concert any day.

I have been to only one concert where the artist actually sounded better live than the recorded album. It was amazing and still one of the best concert experiences I've had.

That said I don't generally go to concerts for just the music, I go for the shared social enjoyment/bonding and the added extras you get from the artists, the covers, the stories, the old songs and the crowd participation.   There is something wonderful about 30,000 people singing along in time.  

The hallmark of a bad concert for me is the lack of those extras, surprisingly my worst concert was David Bowie, he played only the songs on the album he was touring. 

That's nice, but I'm kind of fond of the acoustic guitar, my mom used to play it when I was a kid and I remember enjoying listening to her practice it.
