Yes, the game remains playable after the final story mission, and you can go on to complete any side content that is still on your quest log. It does not break the companions as far as I'm aware.  |

So phoray I have been lurking on you thread and just wanted to say I have loved you posts playying it for the first time. I am on my 8th play through ang especially once you start playing NG+ combat becomes much easier. If you are struggling in combat I'd use the soldier profile I found it really helps.Oh and Cobra RPG's are great for max damage. In terms companions I have warmec to all of the the more I have played. PB is actually one of my favourites and I'd recommend taking her and Drack around Elaaden the have some really good dialogue in the Nomad especially re PB's parentage and life in general. I know you have finished Voeld but PB's dialogue when Jaal is in the car is also funny. Anywat thanks for the thread. |

Yes, the game remains playable after the final story mission, and you can go on to complete any side content that is still on your quest log. It does not break the companions as far as I'm aware.
I would add two caveats to this. Before doing the final mission, make sure you:
Finish Ryder Family Secrets
Finish (or at least make some progress on) any side quests that begin on the Hyperion
Anything else, including loyalty missions, can be completed post-ending.

But narratively, what do you guys suggest?
Right now, I feel like investigating the Krogan issue, just because they brought it up so strongly. And I could honestly suspect Kett activity. Kadara is such a cess pool, setting up an outpost there involves three layers of politics. Ryder could hope one side of the Outcast/collective war has won out by the time she gets back.

Okay, if work doesn't interrupt again, I got three hours to blast some baddies in MEA before bed. The Cess pool that is Kadara Port wearies Ryder and me too much. And suspicious activity may mean KEtt activity. Considering Ryder has established two outposts at this point, she'll focus on the Kett for once. Which I'm sure will make Jaal, potentially her future boyfriend, very happy (since Reyes has yet to wow me.) Jaal may not agree, but the Krogans may be acting weird due to the scheming of the Archon. So, the Pathfinder's team is going to check it out.  |

Kadara annoyed me till I adopted a tactic I used on Voeld, that is don't stop and fight all the raiders as this stops you picking up meaningless quests and wasting time. I just set out to do the monoliths and in going to do those I just clear the available map icons as I move round the map, that is whatever is closest to me at any point in time I do as I proceed round doing the monoliths.

 I just opened Ryder's email. I feel stressed out.  So much pressure. - Angaran Delegates (which Tann tells me I MUST make happy).
- The Moshae is ready to have a meeting with the Roekaar leader.
- The Asari Reporter wants me to report on Kadara and I'm like @_@ you do NOT want to hear my comments on Kadara right now. That won't do anyone favors.
- Vetra and Sid want my attention.
- Cora demands I drop everything and go after the Asari ark.
- Apparently, Rix has heard stuff about the Turian Ark (go figure.)
- The guy who tried to kill SAM contacted me.
- I have no idea who Dunn is, but he wants a meeting.
On top of the "Krogans are being Weird" and "Kadara is a cess pool Ryder has to attempt to clean up" and "mystery findings in random system, as per PB." Also, SAM just dropped a philisophical discussion about AI laws and how one punishes them. Which feels a bit cringe, considering I shot the Angaran AI....
*dies* too much. If I were Ryder, I'd tell SAM to start handling some crap for me, seriously, do I have to get an assistant out of Cryo?

hahahaha... Sid obviously did this. That's why Vetra doesn't know about it. Only took me 2-3 questions from Galloway to nail that. What? I can't just walk over to Vetra and tell her I know it's Sid? *annoyed* So I'm forced to play a character that doesn't see the obvious trap line, and that dumbness continues with not being able to nail who caused this situation right off the bat? haha. My internal debate over what to say. Me: I think it's cool what Sid did. But would Ryder think it was cool? She's logical, she wouldn't approve of people doing risky things. But really, she doesn't think she can control everyone in the Initiative, not by a long shot. And consider what Sid managed to do. Ryder: It was pretty cool. Blowing the generator is easy... but then there is loot hiding behind that door...oh yeah, I'm supposed to be carefully extracting colonists... Fine. Blow the generator. This next one reminds me of the movie Galaxy Quest. "Release the violent alien creatures to do our dirty work for us!" mwuahahhahaah-- although, in retrospect...should have just changed the turrets. Well now I feel guilty cuz I told the kid to stay... Ack I don't want to put my guns on the ground! There better be a--- oh, there is. Whew. I totally shot. Although shotgun wasn't exactly good for close combat shooting when a hostage is involved, but what can ya do. I keep thinking the whole time I go through this fight... One of these guys' names is Jeff. You know, for Vetra's Loyalty mission...this seems to be about how to raise Sid and where she's going to go as an adult more than anything. OMG I"M GOING TO GET A PET HAMSTER! AREN"T I--- AREN"T I  OH MY GOD I GOT A PET HAMSTER. BEST DAY IN ANDROMEDA EVER. Totally makes up for the underwhelming Loyalty mission. *runs to room so she can check out the hamster* Awww.... Why is it still in teh cage? Can I build it a better cage or... I dunno. Buy it a better cage? This is priority numero uno the next time I log on, just saying. Night folks. |
