One Pathfinder per ark. Clan Nakmor came along on the Nexus, and are relatively few in numbers. They really shouldn't have needed a Pathfinder, as much as it might sting Morda. Once they decided to go off plan and leave the Nexus, a Pathfinder might've helped. If the Quarian ark that Tann spoke of arrived, I doubt it would have a separate Pathfinder for every species. That would be overkill. One Pathfinder per ark seems fine; or at the most one Pathfinder each for Dextros and Levos (since they're presumably scouting different worlds).

Annnnd the Turian Ark just seemed to be an external representation of Ryder's initial feeling of unreadiness for the job of Pathfinder. So it's like Ryder is talking to themselves.
