I think it is the opposite. IF all your UR characters are rank X are higher. when a UR character drops it will 100% be Batarian Vanguard everytime until he reaches X. once he reaches rank X, UR Vet rank cards will resume dropping buying reserve packs should easily get me Bat guard ranks... Hmm, you may be right. I always have trouble interpreting Bioware's cryptic notes. Either way I sense a lot of Reserves pack spammage in my future. |

I'm starting to get intrigued at the prospect of annihilation + that detonating melee. Then the question becomes which skills to spec out of? The passive? I'd hate to drop flak cannon with that annihilation field debuff... simple...leave charge as your oh-shit 1 pointer... he will be a beast on platinum and the perfect debuff companion to the scrapper.. BAT BROS!Annihilation is only 20% debuff within limited range though. Not sure if it`s that great... since it will slow down charge a lot while not being detonated by charge at all... (annihilation gets turned off when charge triggers) Wouldn`t you rather be constantly healing & staggering biotic teleporting tank? |

It'd be nice if they gave him a new weapon of Batarian make. There have only been two weapons with unique designs from the Batarians, the Kishock Harpoon Gun and the AT-12 Raider, so it'd be awesome to see something else they designed.

Hmmm, should it not actually be better for those who have UR X+ characters unlocked already instead? As when a new UR character is released, your total UR which is less than rank X is 1 (true), which means any and all UR character card drops would be that new character would it not? Whereas when you have a few under rank X, you could actually be getting any of the others as well not yet at rank X+. Is that not the way it works? :: edit :: Ah, ninja'd.  |

If the datamined skills are correct, this guy will be a lot of fun but will be kind of a one trick pony. Prime with annihilation, detonate with melee. Unless he has some amazing passives or another gimmick he will be inferior to the Scrapper in every other way. Ian Frasier just tweeted that the best advice he can give anyone playing him is "Never. Stop. Punching."

I see the Batarian Bros as a 2-man platinum wrecking crew. If you are on your own, full charge might be better, but with another Bat Bro, full debuff will rule |

Blast foes that are debuffed by annihilation field with flak cannon for extra DOT and quicker kills, which means quicker shield refresh from annihilation field. That seems reasonably diverse and survivable to me. |

I anticipate a companion app update on or before tomorrow morning. I could easily be wrong, but the data I've been able to see in the app's code suggests it doesn't have any info yet for the new Batarian or any other kit newer than the Scrapper. Kind of odd since data for Warp is in the app already. I also don't see any data for any guns past the Kishock.

If it does, then yes 2 twin Bat Bros would be better. I do remember reading that Annihilation Field debuff does stack though. (This always poses an issue with an Asari Adept as they can never resist detonating the debuff.) |

So in *theory* if you don't yet have all your UR characters to X, then you have a decent chance to at least unlock Batarian Vanguard (assuming he is indeed UR) by spamming Reserves Packs. Because the ranks XI-XX characters are not supposed to drop until after you max out the rank Xs. I think it is the opposite.
