Funny; this was one of my fav characters in ME3MP.
This could either really bring something fun to the game, or screw up the implementation.

I was all excited to try a 1/6/6/6 build to maximize flak Cannon damage until I realized I'll prolly never get him to X, almost certainly won't get him higher leveled than the Scrapper (which gets the 40% extra damage from vet bonus), and may not even get rank I for a while. |

Thanks to the new character drop rate tweak, I should be able to get a few levels of him right away with my saved 3 million. The other ranks (to X) should also come very quickly buying reserve packs. My UR characters are all between XIII-XVI...

If you wash your feet then you end up standing in the same dirty water / shower floor you were on before. It doesn't make any sense.

It must be an UR unless it`s uncommon. Look at the pattern.. I know Turian is an exception... but mostly only one character from each race allowed per rarity. |

Edit: this part is wrong
So in *theory* if you don't yet have all your UR characters to X, then you have a decent chance to at least unlock Batarian Vanguard (assuming he is indeed UR) by spamming Reserves Packs.
Because the ranks XI-XX characters are not supposed to drop until after you max out the rank Xs. <-- this part is true per the 1.10 patch notes
But it means that you want to have all *other* URs at X or greater. Then, when the Batarian Vanguard is added to the pool, you will be guaranteed to get him as your UR character drops, in theory.

The datamined files show an angaran assault rifle with explosive rounds and a shotgun they're calling "shorty". I'm ASSUMING that if this batarian comes in as UR they'll give us a rare gun too so we have something easier to get but who knows? They haven't exactly been making the best decisions this time around. |

(Well... not until I get to Rank X, but you get the idea.) |

IF all your UR characters are rank X are higher. when a UR character drops it will 100% be Batarian Vanguard everytime until he reaches X. once he reaches rank X, UR Vet rank cards will resume dropping buying reserve packs should easily get me Bat guard ranks as mt UR characters are all rank XIII-XVI... |
