And, what's with all the salt? I am just glad they are adding to the game; it means they are paying attention and are still tending the garden... That seems like a good thing to me. Yeah its awesome for people who enjoy playing this MP. Sadly I am not one of them. I lurk here in the MEAMP thread because I live in hope of seeing some kind of change that would bring me back. If it weren't for the bloat, and if the goof factor was higher, bringing out the batguard might have been it. But it would be more disappointing to get him and hate it than to just feel whimsical and go play ME3 and keep wondering 'what if'

Calling it now - Barricade Assault turret Backlash I actually would REALLY like to play a kit like that, I hate camping, but with a kit like that I could find a way to make it fun. bsn.boards.net/post/786484/threadCharge Anni-field Flak Cannon from the mining, now the passives are what matter, as well as since he/she (it may be female?) is UR, will have some unmentioned special thing about them. Maybe even 2.

People don't seem to realize him being UR makes him "easier to get" since the UR pool is much lower. (21?) And due to rarity locks implemented tuesday, if you have everything above X, you'll 100% get him since he will be under the rarity lock. Why are people still complaining about a large loot pool? So unless you have all your rares (33?) unmaxed or under level X already, him being UR will be easier for you. Random wise anyway, you will still bust your wallet. But as Unclemonster did above, you should be SAVING FOR EVERY MAJOR RELEASE since they are very frequent. Also, what is the different between a rank level 1 character and level X, 25 skillpoints?..... Really.... really people? The only place 25 skillpoints would be a serious drawback would be gold+, and if your doing gold and can't seem to get X charactes, even URs, your losing way to many games. I don't even have uncommons maxed, and most of rares are not even unlocked. I've just started playing Gold, but only can do it with one character, and have to play Bronze or silver to do challenges like Combat Mastery. (Shrug) I am not complaining, I am stating the obvious when I say unlocking a specific UR character (including the Batarians) is not going to occur for me, and tbh neither it makes any sense to start paying for 100k packs in order to even try. So, nice it's added, and I will still be playing humans and Asari till the cows come home. The only additions that favour and benefit me personally are the new maps. Everything else is of no consequence for the foreseeable future. Rares and uncommons actually have absolutely 0 to do with URs, besides the fact that while trying to unlock URs, you get them as a side reward. You don't have to play gold to unlock an UR, you can actually unlock every single item in the store from playing bronze. Patch tuesday made it so you automatically do before you see a single variant rare+ item. I unlocked asari duelist when I was under 1K apex, (she is what XIV now, and I still don't play her :srs: ) but point is, you can play bronze (10 games?) and absolutely get "lucky" and get the new batarian vanguard. As long as your character is level 20 (don't be like the leeches playing gold with equalizer 1s and a level 9 character...) you can do gold fine. Be a part of the team by doing damage to things you do best. (I knew I could do nothing to anything with armor, so I focused on mooks, my pugs never seemed to mind) also, once you max out common/uncommons, don't by expert packs, go 100% right into 100K packs. You say it makes no sense, but it kinda makes no sense you feel you'll never get the chance to use URs, when your effectively making sure you never do... :yara: I wanted nothing but the Black Widow and the valiant... BW I got and never could use cause it was so heavy, and valiant, was my 4th recent UR I unlocked, I had a level X asari duelist before I unlocked a valiant...lol then couldn't use it cause it was so heavy. lol point is, if your playing this game, and not expecting to ever get anything, your kinda insuring you never will... and don't be intimidated by gold... there was at least 4 ppl who made 700k each, mooching in my gold spam yesterday.

Yeah, I was guessing we'd get an app update before the new Batarian dropped, because I couldn't find his profile icon anywhere in the app's resources. It'd never occurred to me that they'd just leave the picture blank, though all things considered I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

App update rollout might be out of Bioware's control (at a fine-grained level) Yeah, I think the devs have mentioned it's a totally separate team. Still though, I'd think that for stuff like this, there'd be a certain minimum amount of coordination, but oh well.

Reserves pack is the best pack in the game because it gives you character kits 70-80 percent of the time. You keep buying them until you max your kits. You work on maxing out 6/7 items in a total pool of I think 24 now (when just looking at base unlocks). They make the dice roll of the rng for UR characters anywhere from a third to a fifth of the struggle, depending on what you have unlocked, to both unlock and to max. Guns, by comparison are bad, unlock wise, because the pool is about 4 to 5 times as large.

You really don't have to take me for a fool, because I *KNOW* Reserve packs have the best odds at giving (UR) characters. However I'm not interested enough in specific UR characters to get anything other than Premium packs, nor do I specifically want certain weapon unlocks over character ones to get the other ones. I don't know what you read in my post that made you think I was having trouble getting certain cards, so my apologies for that... And last but not least: FFS another TWO URs!!

But yeah, two URs is kinda... Yeah, idk how I feel about that.

I am not intimidated by Gold, but I like living and telling the tales, so I play what works with my abilities as a player & after I find that I can do Silver. TBH, with folks levelling up and getting gear, it is easier to survive Gold than Silver. But some challenges are easier in Bronze. anyway, annihilation field seems to be reported to go down during the charge (though not sure at initiation or landing, so dunno if you are expected to activate it mid-leap like in SWTOR) so I actually like the BS crapper more & am not that hot on gambling, and would rather do the whole conservative thing of levelling chars i can progress in ranks.
