The game likely locks up for a moment while it is loading enemies on a new wave. The files it has to load are much larger than normal enemy files so it blocks the game thread while it loads. Unless you mean the whole thing froze.
I am planning to do a bit of balancing but I don't have enough people to test. I can't change gold's stats for ammo without affecting everything, but I can change some enemies. Sniper needed buffed, and adjutant needs a slight buff. Ramparts are designed to die in inconvenient places and screw up camping spots.
Another fix, is the juggy needs to be able to sync some of the pawns. I think this faction is easier due to lack of sync killing enemies. I used to have some, but I removed them because they crashed the game too often. The Executioner was supposed to have a sync move but the move didn't work off host so you couldn't fight it off.

I'd like to but I think I won't be able to. Two reasons. Time zones - it's already almost 1AM here, and even if I stayed that late, I couldn't join you coz my Internet provider decided to fck up my Reject gold solo during wave 8.... I was recording it. Everything were smooth as silk. No problems whatsoever. I was armed as well as I could coz I didn't know what to expect. Batarian Vanguard with Raider shotgun + Disruptor ammo. Well it was fun and easy experience tbh. Only troubles I had with Heavies. Those guys are not a joke. And their shields are strong af! Took me like 10 solid shots to bring them down... Anyways. My net is back. Time to redo the solo SITREP:Batarian Brawler with Raider Shotgun. Objectives: Targets / Escort / Escort.This time it was much slower because I kited a lot. I wanted to see how enemies behave and cooperate in order to put me down Also I took my time so my friends who won't be able to play it (coz lolpotato laptops etc.) could see what's what So my thoughts so far. I didn't encounter any problems. Either with enemy loadin or with memory usage (I didn't try to play two games in a row). Didn't notice any graphics or sound glitches (although geth scanner was showing headless Forerunners and Executioners, but they were normal once I got close to them). I went with one of the most OP characters in the game, so it's hard to judge the difficulty, but I think I agree with Mission_Scrubbed there. Enemies could benefit from 10-15% buff I'd like to try it with full team, and different character, like vanilla Human Adept or something. That should make things much more tense. Also I was surprised that there was no single Catlas during the extraction (doesn't change the fact that I was staggered to death and almost missed the shuttle). Biggest surprise in-plus: smoothness of the gameplay (and Heavy CAT6 unit). Biggest surprise in-minus: Adjutants. They sound scary, can stagger you when you're not paying attention, but they are pretty easy to kill. Once you get used to them, they become trivial. I know that many people will hate me for this, but I wish they could sync-kill the player. Really, that would make them much more dangerous. During the solo I was leaving Heavies alone till the end, and was killing the rest. Suggestion: 10-15% damage buff to all the enemies apart from Heavy units. If possible - add a sync kill to Adjutants PS. I'll try to upload the video tomorrow OFF HOST THOUGHTS:Just finished a nice Rejects duo with DocSteely. We landed on Giant Hazard this time. Went pretty smoothly. Doc didn't complain. I however, couldn't see any Catlas grenades animation, or Adjutants Singularities (which was expected tbh). That made things a little bit more tricky. We were rolling SI with Venom and TSent with Arc Pistol. Pretty OP duo imo. You can hold your ground for most of the time, but once you get staggered, you're pretty much done. I died twice without seeing who killed me (probably invisible nades). We had to kite enemies on wave 10, coz they were wrecking us while we were trying to disable devices (cuz KoD was here ofc ). I wanted to try second game in a row, to see if our games will crash, but Doc left and I crashed alone, during host migration (which was expected). Then I had massive problems to "kill" Origin. My mouse was not responding lol

I will probably put out a buff update for gold when I play tonight.
The forerunner and the executioner head not showing is because they have separate heads from their bodies. Brooks can change her hair style and sheps face would march yours, so they aren't part of the body directly like other enemies.

And here's the video for the duo with Sonashii (Thanks for the game!): Some random thoughts: - it went very smooth for me (I was the host); - on W5 Sona got killed twice because of proximity with invisible singularities; - switching the target on W3 without problems; - besides the increase in damage that Sona talked about, I'd also suggest an increase of 5-10% in health/armor/shields for all units; - also a sync-kill capable unit would enhance the experience, imo. And ofc, W10 devices, 'cuz King of Devices here... P.S. It was FUN!!!!

It is not really possible to add sync kill. I assume by sync kill you mean enemies must melee, and then perform a kill move. This is accomplished in game by doing a sync action (forcing you into animation) that does huge damage and ignores all gating. The damage is marked as bMPKillDamage, which will bypass revive. Due to this animation and camera work not existing for any enemies I have, it's not really possible. The only enemy would be the Geth Assassin as he has access to the phantom stab, but it's probably pretty ridiculous to see the geth assassin stabbing someone (the sword would also be missing).
I am currently working on making it harder. I'm having to reimplement quite a few things to read from coalesced so I can actually balance them.

1.01 update is live. Go to Actions > Check for content updates in mod manager to get it. Gold wave 3 has been changed to be harder. Many enemies weapons and stats buffed. They should be significantly tougher.

those Heavies better not have had their Rev MCMXC buffed, that crossfire hehe... and speaking of Heavies, their gun raising/fire animation sequence is a bit wonky at times... no biggie

Nice buff, now CAT Tempests do sting quite a bit. Ramparts kinda pushovers still, lacking their edge overall. Also their goo seems to damage other Reject units hehe Working as intended or otherwise?

had my frist try, and it was really awesome, though a bit easy for a first. But that s exactly waht u need for a first. Took my beloved claymore flamer trooper on white. Really cool, but i m still far from having understood which attack came from which unit. All looked really fun. The Sniper unit killed me once in one hit and that was pretty cool. The shielded one was a pain, but that s cool too. edit : launched 2 other games to see if it wld bug, and it kept going perfectly smooth

Make sure you run it on 1.01. The download is 1.0, but Mod Manager will update it to 1.01 after 2 days or you check for updates. The mod is so big that small updates are much faster to push out than a whole new package.
