I read the entire forum thread bsn.boards.net/thread/6725/best-me-screenshot-thread-tips?page=3but was actually after if it was even at all possible, a screenshot tool that could take pictures from another angle other than your characters butt in ME:A multiplayer? Don't get me wrong, this camera angle has been set-in stone since the early Lara Croft game days, but there are occasions where i would love to take a different POV screenshot of some action particularly of my Duelist when doing melee etc. Does anyone know of any methods or tips that may lead me to be able to achieve this? The only option i've managed to come up with so far is to team up with someone and have them take the screenshots with ui.drawenable 0 done, but as you can imagine, i'd love it if i was able to sort some action screenshots myself, and then i know i've got the exact shots i want then. So if you know anything about this.. let me know, i'll be glad to receive any info. |

If you have compatible Nvidia card, you might be able to use their ansel to take pictures (Alt-F2 to activate). IDK if somebody tried it in multiplayer.

Aye, thats what i've been getting. I'm not wanting to circumvent the gameplay, just want a better screenshot than just the player usual screenshot. You'll need Hattiwatti's tool for this, although it's not on his official site, but if you look closely at the BSN thread you'll find the link to his twitter post containing the download link. The MEA tool is not a full release unlike DA: Inquisition, it lacks tonemap control, fog and many other options, I guess it's because Hatti's lack of interest in this game, also it's a bit buggy to use (very glitchy when used on the Tempest, and will probably crash the game if you pause during cutscenes, etc.), also there's no update since patch 1.08. But to answer OP's question, yes it's usable in multiplayer, just like in DA: Inquisition. Please don't ask me if it's bannable, this is an unofficial tool and you use it at your own risks. |

Does that tool still work on 1.10? Only it seems from reading that thread that it got broke a number of times as patches were released?

If that tool uses the same method of patching in the game it should work too. |

I can't imagine Bioware banning people for using a screenshot tool... is the tool also a cheat-engine of some kind?
I mean, yeah, practically anything you do can violate the TOS, but has anyone actually been banned for unlocking the camera?

Also, I checked the readme that came with Hattiwatti's tool but it doesn't mention anything about game-version compatibility...

Well nobody's getting banned from this board because it's unofficial. I guess your only concern is if Bioware / EA ever detects people using these kind of tools and bothers to lock their Origin accounts. I can't imagine they would care, though.

They haven't even done anything yet about credit hacking or modded public lobbies, so I doubt they'd worry much about people taking fancy screenshots.

I'll try not to spam, i generally don't, but i was really happy with that pic above.. so much better than the lara croft butt-shot view that you get in MP. Normally to achieve that picture takes a lot of cooperation between 2 players, and you don't always get the shot you are after even then.
thanks for posting, some of what you said got me thinking about using this mod and i'm sure glad it worked.
