No. I thoroughly enjoyed Andromeda despite its flaws, but the fact that they haven't supported ME with DLC is a major sign of their lack of faith in the series, so I doubt we'll even see a ME:A2. On top of that, the quantity of DLC teases, even a post-ending message that was one of the biggest DLC teases of all time, and to then make none... I have no faith in Bioware now, and I won't be giving them any more money. They lost a customer through this. Thing is, if they hadn't littered the game with DLC tease after DLC tease, and the game felt complete overall, I would probably buy ME:A2. I think the main issue is that they teased so much DLC, and the Quarian Ark was a heavy blow. All my favourite ME races were on there, and they'll never be in the game. And tbh, the game doesn't feel complete yet. So pretty much I don't feel I can buy another game by them. I feel they acted very unprofessionally in how they responded to us before, in how they are responding now, in how they laced the game with DLC teases only to not bother delivering. They won't get an ME:A2 sale, they definitely won't get a DA:I, DA:4 or Anthem sale from me either. Agree. It was clearly from the teases that it would get a dlc but now they are gonna wrap them up in a novel, and that's pretty much about it. It would've been better imo if they had make one, and end the story of Ryder if there were never gonna make a second. To answer your question op, I would buy it, but I don't think they are gonna make a sequel due to the reception it got and with the recent announcement it seems that it's over. I guess in a few years they might make a reboot and start with a new me game with different story and cast. |

I always pre order Bioware and Bethesda games. There is nothing in MEA to change that. I enjoyed the game. It wasn't the strongest ME, or Bioware game, but it's a good game and I enjoyed playing it.

Not at release. Butchering my favorite franchise leaving it incomplete really left a bad taste in my mouth. The lack of DLC was in truth a big slap to the face of those that enjoyed and supported the game. I'm going to pursue a wait and see approach for the next games. (Anthem I don't care one bit).

Given that MEA was the most disappointing Bioware game for me, I would wait until I have some solid information to go on. Also, lesson learned with MEA. Had I waited another couple of weeks, I would have gotten it for half it's price. So no, no more buying at release.

I picked the second option but it really depends how well made Anthem and DA4 are. If those games get good receptions from both critics and fans then I might look at preordering an MEA2.

The market demand for that type of game is not as big as we would want. Mindless shooters are the rage for now. This is why I don't really play a whole lot of games to begin with. I don't mind a mindless shooter, but I don't have a whole lot of room for a lot of them either. Right now, my mindless shooter is Destiny and soon to be Destiny 2. I'm probably going to get Anthem, but to be perfectly honest, it's only because of the team involved. If it was, say, a Ubisoft title, I'd have little to no fucks to give. Yes, similar situation here. I'll wait months after Anthem drops before I make a final decision. EA games are rotten until proven otherwise. |

I'd buy it, assuming I don't see issues start to pop up like with Andromeda and as long as it seems like Bioware actually plans on tying up all loose ends in the actual game. It definitely won't be a preorder or day one. I'll wait until I skim through a few reviews I trust and watch the beginning of some Let's Plays before deciding whether it's worth buying full price, at a discount, or not at all.

I enjoyed the game despite it being such a clusterfuck, but I won't be buying anything from these developers anymore. Half-assed products shouldn't be encouraged.

I will but it would be nice if they let us to keep our MP unlocks. It took us a lot of effort to unlock that stuff and given the rather short life span of ME:A it would be appreciate if the stuff we unlocked with our constant support of the game won't be lost. The stuff we unlocked in ME3 was used for 5 years (it can still used if you want to play the game again) but if they make a ME:A 2 the first will come to an end. I think we deserve our unlocks, at least at Rank I  Give me them, maybe a banner to recognize there were players who supported BW in the darkest hour and I will gladly preorder the super-mega-ultimate-galactic edition In any case I'll give them my support if they decide to give Mass Effect the chance it deserve |

There is nothing hypocritical of being massively disappointed by BW leaving this game as it is because their decision hit those that defended this game. The change of tone is absolutely normal because people that invested time and money on it got shafted and felt betrayed in a way. I would need more information to make a decision. If the game is a direct sequel, with the same protagonist, squad, still in the fledgling days of Andromeda with nothing really established than definitely not.
If they kick the ball down the road in time where there is more of a galactic society, intergalactic travel, more races, the galaxy has some established history to build story and characters off of, I would probably check it out. But there wasn't enough that I liked about the first game to want more of it in a direct sequel.
