If MEA2 happen will you buy it?

The Mass Effect franchise is utterly doomed. Bioware had in their hands a chance to redeem themselves (and even make extra money) through DLCs, to overcome poor reviews, if anything to please their fans, but they decide not to. In my view, all subsequent Bioware games deserve to be seen with some skepticism after Andromeda's fiasco.

That being said, Bioware might still overcome Andromeda's shortcomings provided that Anthem and the next Dragon Age are successful. If they are willing to release another Mass Effect game after those two (and a proper release including a beta/demo and all that good stuff), I might get in the hype again.

Still, it is early to say. Anthem might be just a piece of junk and the next Dragon Age might be disappointing, who knows.
All I can say now is that the Mass Effect franchise needs a serious breaks and much rethinking. Not just from Bioware's part but the fans as well.

If it looks good and gets good reviews from gaming channels I respect, sure!

But I will not pre-order a Bioware game again, Inquisition and now Andromeda had less than ideal starts and I'm not interested in dealing with that mess again. Ultimately patience is still less frustrating than dealing with half-baked half-awesome products.

Absolutely. Having enjoyed ME:A I'm definitely on board with a sequel.

Possibly. Unfortunately, MEA was such a disappointment buying new Mass Effect games is not automatic anymore. No more pre-orders, no more buying sight-unseen. I'd need to like what I was hearing via critic reviews and user feedback, and BW re-establishing some cred with Anthem and/or DA4 in the meantime wouldn't hurt either.

I think the poll should have an option that doesn't include reviews. Game reviews, much like film, are irrelevant displays of collusion. I'll wait until the game goes on sale for the first time, just as I did with ME:A. EAWare (bioware has really been dead for years everyone) is a professional culture that embraces releasing broken, bugged and incomplete product for full retail price. It has been this way for over seven years. Fanboys and fangirls will run screaming to buy the first preorder and wonder why broken junk is what they get. Would these same people go to a restaurant and happily spoon undercooked meals or spoiled food into their mouths? Maybe. I'm not sure at this rate.

Even beyond EA, game development embraces the culture of selling broken junk to patch later. The next game I'm looking forward to is WWE 2K18. I have not preordered and I won't buy the game until at least the first time it goes on sale. I'll just watch the lemmings cry, rage, threaten to kill developers and the rest of the fun until a few patches come out.

Yeah, I'm in. Sure MEA was released in a less than stellar condition, but what triple A game isn't these days? But I enjoyed it, bummed that there's no DLC incoming...as I haven't actually completed a full play through yet. But eh...it is what it is at this point. Game on.

Yes. If we will get MEA2 I will buy it instantly because I want to see open plots from MEA coming to an satisfying end. If they reboot ME yet again, I will wait until after release to see what's it about.
