Help me Dragon Age 4, you're my only hope.

I think the release and fall of mea is a good thing for Bioware. It showed that no matter how devoted the communtity is, we will not tolerate unfinished and underquality games.
If it hadn't happened before the release of DA4, DA franchise would've had faced the same threat but now they have a clear sign of what not to do in front of them. Though it is their businness if they pay attention to it or not.

Let's hope DA4 is not just an online MP game as that would be the end.

Ever since someone once, many, many moons ago used an interview with Laidlaw during DA2s development of him looking nervous and uncomfortable I've been using his mood as a barometer for how well DA turns out. Yes this is ridiculous. He seems to be living his best life atm so DA4 is gonna melt everyone's face off.

I've been catching his streams here and there and have also noticed his mood when speaking about future DA stuff. He definitely does seem to be confident. It's good to see/hear even though it's still early days yet.

I'd rather it would have happened to Inquisition that imo deserved the hate-wave way more than Andromeda. But, of course, everyone loved DAI. I can't win. I like the game, everyone hates it. I don't like the game, everyone adores it. (Sigh) I bet DA franchise will go on for years and years and years.... I am trying to force myself to be like everyone else and like the same thing. Gonna go brainwash myself some more now with Inquisition. Squeee! I *wuv* it!  It's a wonderful game! The best ever!

Interestingly enough I feel the same about MEA and Inquisition. I can't force myself to finish DA:I not even one more time other than the first playthrough I did. It just didn't clicked with me.

I hope DA4 will be a good game so that I can enjoy it much more. It has a good premise as I really like Tevinter so I hope for a darker game. DAI was quite light for my taste.

Where did you see you can be a female PC in Greedfall? On the forum the developer responded that the character customization is too hard to do, so everything about the protagonist is fixed, his look, gender, age, name and background. If there is indeed a choice if at least two leads, I will be more interested. The setting is nice, the trailer is appealing. But we also have not seen how the game actually looks, and cheap 3D games can look autrociously bad. The 17th century finery if not done well will look terrible... also, the quality of translation is a perennial concern with imports. Even if it is grammatically correct, the dialogues often feel wooden. So, it is absolutely a game to watch, but we need far more to declare it a successor to real BioWare.

I've just listened to the entire clip you posted and at no point they said you can play as a female, or shown artwork for the female PC.

We won't add a lot of new features for the character customization, firstly because the main character is defined in the universe (age, surname, title, background story) and secondly because character creation is something very heavy to develop, and we really want to focus on narration and game experience.

Davrin's boobs You already got me interested in Greedfall in the romance thread, saying that you could play as a woman and that there would be same sex romances, but the above has sold me Sounds like it'll be an interesting game.
