Was anyone else waiting for DLC to start a new game?

Yes.

Not for a long while. I don't like all of the loose threads left and the idea that I can find the answers in the comic books & novels can suck eggs. They get no more of my money for MEA.

Yeah I kind of had resigned myself to this happening the moment I heard Montreal shut down because I pretty much knew that there was no one else likely to work on it. I always hoped someone else might pick it up and run with it like Austin but I wasn't expecting it.

I got halfway through a second playthrough before I lost interest in playing. I figured I'd wait and see if at least one DLC would be released and if that would bring back my desire to play. Alas there is no DLC, and I still don't want to play the game. So as of right now I won't be playing again, though I'm sure in a year or so I'll try returning to it.

For now I will continue catching up on reading and waiting for the evil within 2 and AC origins.

I was so, so curious to see how quarians and the drells (they were on that ark too damnit!) would have turn out. Maybe more thinner, heh, but what else?
I hope somebody leaks the comics to the web so I don't need to spend any money on the comics which-should-have-been-games.
I do enjoy comics and everything related to ME but at the moment the idea of comics after all this is comical.


And no, I am not planning to go back to Andromeda, I really tried after the character creation was fixed but even the first mission got me so tired I just got back to Milky Way.

Wow. I'm really shocked by the amount of disinterest and dislike of this game by people who like the Mass Effect Universe so much.

Not only do I like Mass Effect Andromeda, it gave me a strong hope that DA4 would be even better than DAI. Like, I was actually worried BEFORE I played the game that all the hate meant that Bioware had totally lost it's touch then had that worry entirely overturned during play. But I guess I'm odd, because I feel the games are like this: ME3>MEA>>>ME2>>>>>>>>ME1. I'm first and foremost a Dragon Age Fan and played ME to bide my time until the next installment, so it's not like I went into this game expecting to love every moment.

They can take the DLC is add it to ME2 to add more meat to the carcass at the time. It'll be all good, folks.

I plan to play 1.5 times more, then wait for MEA-2 before I play a full third time before it's release. If it doesn't release, at least it's easy enough to head canon that if Ryder and co can defeat the Archon, they can defeat the Primus. And I never cared about the Benefactor story line, it doesn't seem relevant.

I don't know what to tell you, Smiles. A Let's Play of what? I may do one of TW2 when I get round to playing. Then there is Detroit: Become Human and Greedfall next year. I will definitely do one for DA4 when it happens, but then again, I'll be sucking it down sight unseen the moment it comes out, so... It'll hardly be the people who have played the game a couple times re capturing the feelings of their first play through.

I was hoping for some DLC, but I'd still replay the game anyways. Oh well, I'll just have to see what the novel has in store.
Side note: When it comes to criticisms, I don't know why people criticized the characters. Story I can understand why, but not the characters. (This isn't a message saying: "U hated teh characters I liek s0 joo suck." I'm just saying I don't unsterstand the criticism.)

DLC or content patches. Probably not gonna play it again. Only Bioware game I've finished only once.
