Was anyone else waiting for DLC to start a new game?

I was waiting for literally any DLC to come out before starting another playthrough.  I usually do my vanilla playthrough and play the DLC as it releases.  Then, once it's all out, I'll play through the new version of the story.  

As for when I'll play it again?  Probably not for a while.  With all this bad news of no DLC and the franchise being on ice (allegedly), I can't bring myself to play Andromeda again.  If this is the end of Mass Effect, playing through Andromeda kind of feels like watching something you care about die.  I'll get over it eventually, but right now is out of the question.

this is really sad!!!! it s only 5 months after launch and the game is dead. No dlc was the worst it could happen. A dlc release would shut the mouths of the obnoxious loud blabbermouth haters.. instead... sigh.
I will play a second playthorugh as sara biotic at some point and thats it. Andromeda is a game i like but it pains me to know it is abandoned

Yep. I was maybe 12 hours into the story and put the brakes on to play multiplayer. Figured there would be some pretty massive changes coming that would add to the meat of the story. With the notice of no more DLC I decided to continue the campaign yesterday. No DLC for a Mass Effect and big budget title... Hard to believe. 

I think you will enjoy TW3, it ticks those boxes, and Geralt is such a damn enjoyable protagonist to play. I'm still yet to play the DLC for it, but my other half tells me they are fantastic, but you have to be over level 30 to actually play them. Let us know what you think about it.

I have the week off, hurrah, so was searching for information about new DLC before trying a second run through. So, erm, yeah. Still, at least this time it will be patched.

That's pretty much what my other half says word for word. I'm creeping up the early 20's level wise so I'm getting there slowly!

I was. But after this is how i play Bioware games. One canon PT after the DLC. Now i will start my canon after nylon current PT of TW 3.

I've done enough PTs so I was going to do one more NG+ with DLC but no go.
