If a sequel to Andromeda is eventually made, would you want it to be named ANDROMEDA 2 or a differen

Probably a different title. Since they aren't using numbers anymore they should stick to what they did with MEA and also the Dragon Age franchise where the subtitle refers to something that happens in the game. Like for example Mass Effect: Andromeda was arriving in Andromeda.

Either choices are fine.

I don't care about the name, all I want is a game!

I want to have a response to all the questions they left unresolved in MEA. A part of me want to believe in a surprise announce, but I no more believe in Santa Claus and the next game is far, far, too far away ... and that makes me sad.

I don't think the title is going to make any difference to me.

It seems to make a difference to some people, as it keeps coming up.

I would liked it to stick to Andromeda in its title, because for me a big draw was going to the Andromeda galaxy. It's sort of a quintessential retro space dream before the heads cooled down and faced the limitations of the space exploration. I would actually lose ME from the title if the story revolves around the Andromeda colony.

I say remove the "Mass Effect" part from it and call it Andromeda 2: something.

or just shorten "Mass Effect: Andromeda" to ME:A...and make the rest of the title pertinent to whatever the story is about... sort of like, "ME:A - The Lost Ark." 

People who don't like ME:A are not going to like any sort of story that does connect any better just because the title doesn't include a reference to "Andromeda."  I'm convinced, the malcontents around  are just not going to shut up about it until the get a rewrite of ME3... regardless.  Personally, I really want to see a continuation of the ME:A story now.  I don't give a shit anymore about ME3... and any ME story that tries to continue Shepard's story.  I'm done with the Reapers... hooked on the Andromeda galaxy now and truly want to find out more about the Jaardan.  If Bioware does decide to also buckle to the ME3 crowd, more power to them (splitting the IP into two series as a spinoff is OK by me)... but the overboard demands of those malcontented fans over 5 years of arguing have totally killed my interest in the Reapers... and I won't be buying another ME game unless it takes place in Andromeda and at least attempts to answer the plot lines left open in this game.

I honestly don't care about "title". Why pretend Andromeda did/does not exist? It is not a gadget it is a big game and takes countless hours to complete. There is no need for sweeping MEA under any rug.

For me, MET = mass effect. I never cared about the silly/bad animations in the first place, my gripes with MEA are not the popular ones regurgitated to death on youtube.

For me, MEA is a decent stand-alone story-driven shooter but definitely not on par with MET.

And therein lies the problem. It is much more shooter than RPG and the illusion of being big is only because of vast open spaces. But they are empty, if you don't play them as a shooter and take every bait the game throws in front of your Nomad. There's hardly anything to discover apart from the same ruins over and over.

Renaming the game wouldn't solve that. Rebranding the game to be perceived as a shooter instead of an RPG might. Because fewer people would expect the richness of previous titles.

Mass Effect: Beyond Helius (or something along those lines). I don't mind them at all returning to Andromeda to see what happened with the initative and see what progress our new little civilization out there has made but I would also like it to be set a generation or two after MEA.
