I wouldn't put Andromeda in my Top 10. My all-time top 10 rpg/rpg hybrid games goes like this

You might wonder why Da Witchah 3 is not on the list, but it's simply because Geralt, both character itself and voice acting, is so fucking bland and seemingly written to young teens, and I cannot for the love of god connect or feel anything with him...

Honorable mentions: Witcher 3, Tomb Raider reboots, StarCraft 1 & 2, Diablo 1, WarCraft 1-3, GTA 1, Icewind Dale, Max Payne 1-3, Life is Strange.

DA:I and ME:A aren't on my list, unfortunately. They were overall solid games imo - but the MMO style just killed it for me, making it a complete chore 80% of the time... Other 20% was pretty good, not great, but good.

Here ya go. This is a massive trainwreck of a game. (I'd be tempted to compare it to Plan 9 from Outer Space)

Ty. Including a bit of cheating. Because most of the time im playing on consoles, but i was listed only those are available on PC as well.
And of course it is good to refresh my memory what i was played in the past.
It is good to see that Pillars of Eternity is your favourite game i am interested in that game and Divinity OS.E.E too.

For some it obviously is. There are quite a few people fighting tooth and nail for it every step of the way.

Don't see much of a point to lists. The only thing that matters to me is what games I like to play. Not what some magazine, website, or opinionated loudmouth on some forum says what I am allowed to like or dislike.

What is suprising is that ME1 or 3 didn't make it to the list or Dragon Age Origins

Vanilla DS2 or SOTFS?

It's not bad at all, it's just very different from 1 and 3. I'm currently playing SOTFS and really enjoying it so far. As a PC port, it is vastly superior to DS1, all credit to From Soft for listening to feedback (Not perfect, but it's completely playable on LB+M). Lore-wise, it is somewhat disconnected from the other games (I played 3 first and then 1, so my thoughts on the lore were skewed somewhat). The atmosphere is totally different as well, many areas have bright colour palettes, which seem out of place in a Souls game. They're beautiful, don't get me wrong, but just very... different.

It has a few of gameplay differences as well, the most annoying being ADP as a stat that governs rolling i-frames, but that is easily solved with minimal stat investment and spending more time outspacing enemies rather than rolling, and the combat then becomes fun again.

TL;DR get SOTFS if possible. I've not played vanilla DS2 so I can't help with deciding on that.

It's SOTFS. I haven't played any Dark Souls game yet, so it being different might not bother me half as much as it does a longtime fan of the series.
