Well to be fair MEA did get a nomination for female Ryder VO but that was it. No Best RPG nomination, no GOTY nomination, no best gaming moment nomination, nothing....just a VO and even that wont win.
Compare that to DAI which was nominated for:
Best Audio
Best Storytelling
Best Visual Design
Best Gaming Moment
Best Gaming Performance
Ultimate Game of the Year
Mass Effect 3 was nomimated for:
Top Gaming Moment
Best RPG
Ultimate Game of the Year
Mass Effect 2 won:
RPG of the Year
Ultimate Game of the Year
So considering that MEA only got a nom for a VO and not GOTY, Best Moment, or at minimal....Best RPG, it really goes to show the respect and excitement the world outside of BSN has for MEA.
Expect for this to be a trend this year for award season.

Sara Ryder is not related to Andromeda, I take it. I dont count a VO cause that isnt in the same vein as best RPG or best storttelling. Considering that Bioware games got more nods before, MEA getting just 1 and that only being a VO is really sad. Also Sara Ryder isnt nominated for anything, it is her VO that is nominated. |

This shouldn't really be a surprise to anyone. To some it can be. There are many people here who thought that the criticisms against MEA were just a vocal minority who wanted to take Bioware down and after the patches, people would see MEA in a better light. |

Just pointing out that MEA has underperformed compared to last Bioware games which got GOTY nominations. I would have been highly surprised if this game got any major nominations. It's neither good nor bad and could only have scored in a year full of total trainwrecks. The game just swims wth the bulk of games being released this year. |

I'm actually more surprised sara ryder's VA got nominated. did she do other work to be put forth? I enjoyed Male ryder's VA much more. AS for it not getting any nominations is anyone actually surprised?
