Fact is fans can't be "true" judges to anything really, they're incompetent of it where as devs have a better understanding of the designs used for these projects and if something was flunked or not or if it really was a good effort. And yet they are the ones playing the games, the ones making games happen by buying the titles. So yes, they are biased, but without them, good or bad, the industry wouldn't have a leg to stand on. So I say, their judgment is valid. Yea fans make games thrive, but there's no reason for me to take people serious when it comes to awards, franchise bias is most definitely a thing. It's ridiculous how one can talk shit on another game but show quite the favoritism towards something they themselves play. That's my point when it comes to bias. You may trust fan judgement, but I won't. |

I am just pointing out how if this continues (MEA not getting nominations) then this is not normal for a Mass Effect game and there are facts to back it up. And yet it's normal for the majority of games. And that's what MEA is - a normal game. |

This shouldn't really be a surprise to anyone. To some it can be. There are many people here who thought that the criticisms against MEA were just a vocal minority who wanted to take Bioware down and after the patches, people would see MEA in a better light. I'll just leave this here  |

Well to be fair MEA did get a nomination for female Ryder VO but that was it. No Best RPG nomination, no GOTY nomination, no best gaming moment nomination, nothing....just a VO and even that wont win. How is this even a surprise? The game is garbage. |

I am sincerely glad there are so many quality games out there that the other people liked released this year. I can only hope that at least some of them at some point can find it in their heart to be glad that there are those who enjoy Andromeda, or at the very least stop actively opposing to the folks liking it. This is not a crusade... if you want one, I recommend Assassin's creed and Crusader Knights, and Total War games. I am sure it will give you all the crusading fix you can possibly wish. Heh, I am starting to want to put together a Crusader Bundle from all the Crusader titles out there to recommend to these folks  |
