DA4 / Dragon Age: Retribution LEAK, GET IN HERE GUYS!!!! [Please keep discussion about this 'leak' t

I hope you mean the conversation wheel, not a NPC happening to flirt with the protagonist (so perhaps the option spot for flirting gets replaced with a friendly return that includes communicating that they're not interested in the same way back).

I wanted to play Qunari in DA4.

Problem is that previous leaks were something else - they were portions of surveys or leaked videos. This is just someone on 4-chan furiously typing stuff, as if trying to remember contents of a wacky dream.

Plus, we already had some devs here and there being all 'yeah guys.. it's fake', when I don't recall them denouncing anything from leaks that turned out to be based on something true.

Also - because some leaks look like they're intentional, Internet's caught on this and now we also have a rash of false leaks and rumors.

Either way, it doesnt hurt if people voice their opinions about this leak, cause then devs can still use the feedback to a fake leak to know what fans DONT want to see

It seems too detailed to be fake, but I wouldn't like it.

First: STOP WITH SISTER/BROTHER THING ALREADY, IT SUCKED ON DA2, IT SUCKED ON ANDROMEDA, WHY WOULD IT BE GOOD NOW?
Second: Seriously, where does the Inquisition fits on that? Solas just tries to destroy Minrathous? WTF?
Third: No race choice is going backwards. The lack of creativity in Bioware seems to be increasing.

The only thing I liked was the possibility to explore Minrathous and the references to Rome (and the combat being more tactical and DA2 like), but I really hope we don't spend most of our time there, that it's just another city, like Novigrad in TW3.

Oh, and the thing I hate the most: I would rather support a qunari invasion than defending Tevinter. 

It does hurt, because it distracts from more proactive suggestion making, like the DA4 speculation thread, and worse, any attention paid to a hoax just encourages more hoaxers.

Already plenty of constructive feedback vehicles, no need to waste time with this fanfic.

I'm personally of the opinion that anyone on this forum who believes that any feedback on this forum is going to affect the development of the series one way or another is kidding themselves.

If true I like everything about this, except that you can only play as a human. I think that's a real step back.

True or not, I have to say I almost wept of joy with the description of Minrathous. If they are taking one thing from TW3 as inspiration, the city of Novigrad is definitely a good choice. But then again, this might not happen at all. It's really hard for me to imagine Bioware actually managing to create a breathing, living city with NPCs that aren't rocks.

And don't kill me, but the protagonist possibly being human only is honestly really appealing to me. Hawke is still my favorite protagonist in all DA games for a reason. I also like the idea of having a last name that people will mention, because it makes things way more personal than having NPCs and companions calling you by your title (if we'll have any at all in DA4). But Lanius? What the heck kind of name is that? I smell BS...

Also, I don't mind having only 7 companions, that's what I've been wishing for anyway. And I don't see what's the problem with having people attacking your companions if it makes sense for the story. If you go to a place where qunari are hated then I'd be more frustrated if people didn't react at all just because he/she is with you.

Honestly, overall I'm liking what I'm reading, apart from a few weird things (Salos? Really?). Some of these things actually sound too good to be true (combat being more like DA2 with DAO tactics? My dream!). I'm not saying it's fake, it could very well be a very rough first draft of the game and many things may change, but if it's actually a genuine first draft, then I'd say they are going into the right direction in my opinion.
