On the dai leak and how close it came did we find out who broke it?

Heh, I wish they did not move the release date on it.

Well, we already got something of a half-official statement about it from one of DA devs, but that's as close as we get to its denouncement or any future denouncements. Either way, I think we should expect more 'leaks'. People are obviously interested with DA, now that we are pretty sure that they're working on it full-time and as the dev explained, there will be many more who will try either squeeze something from the devs by underhanded tactics like that or just troll the Internet and get people reeling.

No idea if it's true, but I'd play it. 🤷‍♀️

I just wish something legitimate would actually get leaked. Or we'd get an official announcement. Anything is better than this radio static.

Ah, but you see, I believe in the GREAT CONSPIRACY! They have secretly been working on DA4 since the release of Inquisition, and their absolute silence on the matter has been ensured by threatening to switch out all their donuts for the Alamarri pickled krone! So, in reality they will have worked 4 years on the game, and it will rock everyone's nugs off and be so amazing that Mass Effect spontaneously resurrects itself!   

Bear in mind, they didn't just jump into development for DA4 right after Trespasser. The DA team was split between Anthem (~70%) & MEA (~30%).

Yeah, they've been working in pre-production, but the Writers' Pit didn't even start coming together until earlier this year. And the team only started to grow (from a small team) after MEA wrapped up.

And with a lot of resources still tied up with Anthem (and remember, Anthem is a 3rd major franchise for the Canadian studios where there wasn't one before), who knows when they'll be able to put their full support behind DA4.

Anthem can suck it. 😜

There is Bioware Austin which also seems to be working on Anthem but I don't know how many are. While they also work on SWTOR, Austin has been hiring alot of people for a while now, so I get the feeling that they are up to something. No idea what that something could be though, I do know they considered making a KOTOR remaster ages ago then scrapped the idea, so maybe something Star Warsy? It's possible that they could help with Dragon Age, I suspect that Bioware would prefer to keep the bulk of the work with Edmonton.

Yeah, from the sound of it, Austin is almost certainly up to something Star Wars-y, in addition to helping out with Anthem (and possibly DA too). And I agree that they'd likely keep the bulk of the DA work in Edmonton.
