Wow. I just opened one of the Jumbo Premium packs age got 3 URs (Shorty Siphon, Dahn Concussive, and Sovoa) plus a whole slew of other junk. Human Artificer too. Seems like a good deal for this much stuff. I wish this pack was available like 6 months ago....

OK I rebooted the apex app and now the sniper amp is available. The other MF items for sale are all level of Mods ( which you can apparently buy with credits now in one of the new packs) and UR character. People will be happy about UR character though I'm sure Rare character would have also been popular for getting Artificer cards.
No way for me to tell but I hope people didn't miss out on the operative package.

Looks like the mod pack can drop the MF-only mods, which makes them a nice alternate route vs grinding MF for a year or more.

I think I'll stick with Arsenal packs for now.

It would have been nice if BW gave a bulk discount but I know better.

Well this fixes one of my complaints; now I will be able to choose the right ammo for the right situation. I have been ammo starved ever since the weapon bloat of 1.09. I just bought 5 ammo packs, and got all level II and several level III ammo, as well as other level II/III boosters. Excellent results for a measly 50k credits. Now I can use ammo as a tactical option for all the characters. Now to start getting and using disruptor ammo, which works well all the time if you have it.
Thanks, Bioware! Fernando said he would fix it in the last stream, and they did. This wasn't one of my big 3 complaints, but it does give the game better tactical options for each character.

In the jumbo premium, if a player already has maxed manifest or just say rares, does the game give out 10 artificer cards or only 1 and a bunch of rare consumabels?

If you are already maxed out and just looking for new artificer cards, buy 5 reserve packs for the same price.

An expert pack will give you one artificer card for 50k.

I made the assumption that URs were not maxed because that would be damn near impossible or at least around 1500 hours of platinum playtime possible.

There are individuals I've played with with Shorty Siphon X, not saying it means max manifest but having the most recent UR at siphon X is pretty steep. Not anywhere near max manifest though, ..... UR cards keep comming out, I still haven't broken into UR variants...

I am, EXTREMELY surprised... that this change is in the store... I literally thought that bioware was 100% "f you guys done."
I mean its not weapon balancing, but I guess I can't knock this.... :yara:
But then again... it is just another form of money grabbing with nothing really "added" :amirite:

There's pent up demand for packs we can charge real money for and it's trivial to implement. I don't really count this one. Especially since on the same day, they released arguably the worst assault rifle in the game at UR, essentially confirming they're not listening on the balance changes that desperately need to happen.

Fernando reiterated in the Twitch stream that balance changes were still coming.
I've been playing with it and the Sovoa's going to be a tough gun to balance. Its splash damage is really useful in groups and forgiving when aiming is off. It just kind of sucks right now in one on one situations. Especially when staring down a krogan. Buffing it too much will throw the entire game's balance off in a hurry. At rank 1 on a turian soldier with Assault rifle 2 and a disruptor 2 amps in felt kind of okay. That's more help than it should need but not by a huge amount.
