Why should I care what this guy has to say isn't he a racist and we should have boycotted all BioWare and EA products because they refuse to fire him? EA/Bioware supposedly did fire him earlier this year. So I suppose you can argue that would make this headline more accurately summed up as;
"Man fired from work doesn't like former employers... also the sky is still blue and the ocean wet. Now onto sports..."Pretty much. Yeah. Right Heir is attention seeking troll whore who everybody and their brother here and at BSN Prime used to drive me fucking crazy to no end with their "lets boycott BioWare until they fired his ass" threads and posts, and now a lot of the same damn people are using his rantings because they line up with their view of microtransactions. Heir has no creditably with me and by giving this attention seeker troll whore you only play his game of his attention seeking to help get him another job and then all of you same people will complain when he gets a job elsewhere and starts making bigoted statements again don't come whining about "Heir has helped to ruin *insert game title here* and we need to boycott this developer" to me because it will be YOU the same people that once wanted his head on a plate because he is a bigot and used his rant on microtransactions lines up with yours because he will use this to get a new job in video games or as as an internet/YouTube personality. Heh, I thought the original thread was unlocked. That thread at least had more of a coherent discussion in it. You're not wrong, though if we can avoid flouting Godwin's Law and stick to talking more about EA, this one might survive a little longer...  I never even heard of the guy until he started shitting on ME:A and people around here who shared his mindset started posting and reposting his videos. Whatever value he may have had before his latest offering of hopping on the bandwagon is seemingly lost to the goal for that sweet sweet YT ad monies and dem clicks. |

( reports from former employees, Schreier's report( which turned out true in the end), glass door reviews, etc) when not. Maybe a censorship on anything but Biofan/follower videos?  Anyway, get the impression, the first half of what he's saying is very much accurate...poor management/leadership, issues with open world and Frostbite, lack of creative vision, playing it safe with setting/narrative: plenty of this are hinted in game itself, and in what followed afterwards. When he goes off with stereotyping "whites", meh, it seems he was more causing problems and turning everything into matter of skin color. |

It only takes a little bit of google to understand the name of the Nazi party was "Nationalsozialismus". They were socialists, and like all communists end up resorting to fascist actions to enforce their nationalist utopia (as was the case with Russia and China). Sort of like how the term "microtransaction" continues to persist despite the fact that the price of these digital goods has risen substantially. My view might be skewed because everything in Australia is absurdly expensive, but the way I see it, if something costs around $5 or more, it's not "micro" anymore, it's a normal transaction.
In that sense, I find the term "microtransaction" to be rather insidious. It implies that the expenditure is minor, that it won't affect your finances, etc etc. But if a cup of coffee isn't a "micro" transaction, then neither are similarly priced digital goods.
