To be honest - I do not care anymore.
Yeah - there could be a sequel to ME:A or something, but I can't believe in that anymore. If they develop anything, it's possibly only the multiplayer part of ME:A, and make that into an MMO or something. It seems that's the way EA is pressing about any game at this moment, because of lootboxes and microtransactions and all that shiny moneymaking stuff.
The same will be true for Dragon age I am afraid (and possibly the game will be cut in half without DLC, so you can read the rest of it in a comic or glossy book) And Anthem is already "ripe for microtansactions and lootboxes" because multiplayer. EA's dream of making money.
Yeah - I am a bit salty today, sorry...

I wish Kelly had been added to the romance options for Mass Effect 3. I do too. She's my favorite LI in the Shepard Trilogy and meets all the criteria so seeing her not included makes me sad. She's there, sort of. But she's in the Citadel section (with Conrad Verner) instead of with the other LI choices. |

Not bad. I didn't go through the whole thing. Maybe later. I did noticed a few things. There was no option for recruiting Allers or not. It just asked if romanced.
ME2 had Thane alive or dead, but no option if recruited or not. I believe the only one's that had the option to be recruited were Zaeed, Kasumi and Legion. Surprising since, besides the 4 names I mentioned, Tali, Samara and Grunt don't have to be recruited.
No option for Conrad to be with Jenna, if her side mission was completed in ME1. It only had Conrad alive or dead.
It did give the option to choose a relaxed or loud party for the Citadel party. Don't know why that was in the tapestry.

So something struck me with the whole tapestry thing. What if BW/EA are collecting meta data about the user base to see if a sequel could be made with a canonized ending. Its a long shot but there's not really a reason to have a tapestry on a trilogy that's irrelevant to your most recent game. Really dont understand why else theyd make it.

Interesting. Avela is counted as a separate romance while the reporter is counted as an official romances. Making it impossible for the game to take into account that you might have had 3 romances.

Only one question: Why now? The timing seems telling... still hope I am wrong though... If this is coming out now it must mean that something for a Mass Effect game pre-sequel is in the works... I hate to say it but it is making Anthem look more and more like what I hoped it wouldn't be. Not just "Why now?" but "Why both Shepard and Ryder?" They are separated by centuries and a galaxy. Heck MEA was specifically to GET AWAY from Shepard's story. With the direction they are taking the franchise, the trilogy, especially ME3, doesn't matter. And if they do backpedal and relocate to the Milky Way, Ryder's story won't matter. (in addition to the endings being a headache to deal with) Or they try the McKay/Carter Intergalactic Gate Bridge technique.  |
