**This quality assured threadβ’ is brought to you by your trusted toxic individual**Considering it's all is lost over now, what are your thoughts about the MP now? In your opinion, how did Bioware handled the support for MP? I think it was just terrible. Started like a complete mess, even though they presumed to have tested the game mode extensivelyβ’. Of course that was just PR talk, but anyways. People bitched, they had no idea why, gave some crap balance changes: we were using melee because the guns sucked, what did they do? nerfed melee. People complained about guns and powers, and at snail's pace they buff a few points here and there, in fear some change may broke an already broken game. People bitched like there was no tomorrow and then some, and finally they started listening to us and gave some proper balance. Patch after patch it looked like one step forward, and two steps back, but they were getting there. Took months, and after they finally started to head ever so slightly in the right direction, giving hope to some of us in the process, game support was over. Way to go. Adding 1 or two pieces of content every month, one kit here, one gun there. Recycling powers over, and over, and over, how much actual new content did they introduce aside from maps? Almost as if there was no budget at all for MP, even thought they had microtransactions since day one. Admittedly, I doubt many people spent money on M$s for this game. This tells me that the team in charge of MP (and this goes for SP too... but I digress) had no frigging clue about what they were doing, and were creating a game mode completely different of what people were expecting. They tried to reinvent the wheel in the worst possible manner, only to try and change things back the way they were in ME3. Am I salty? you bet. And remember, no russ pre orders. And only buy shit after seeing 15 gazillion reviews on the internet. Have a good day.

As a gamer, it's not bad and quite fun. But there are many unforgivable, ignorant, and plain stupid sins from the dev team.
It was the gifted child whose handlers dropped them 7 or 8 times at birth.

I voted for average. It's functional and fun. For all the problems it has, it still offers a unique experience aside from ME3 MP.

Lack of diversity with kits and powers was a big fuck up. Then the character card unlocks for points was never a good idea and was probably my biggest issue personally (god forbid, you finally grind a character to level 20 but still can't play them at their full potential because lol RNG unlocks.) The RNG loot explosion and how it was implemented was complete bullshit.
...other those things, it had other fun features that did make it more enjoyable over time but overall the game was "meh."

I think MP is basically a fun game, yet, for a Mass Effect game, it wasn't the highlight I expected it would have been. A lot of my disappointment has to do with the fact that I feel BW has squandered the franchise, with MP as well as SP.
Thus, I'll go with 'average'...

In the end, I cannot possibly say a good thing about MEAMP because of its poor stability before patch 1.06 and mismanagement with patch 1.09.
BTW, it`s N7 day. Did they do anything about it at all? So quiet.

Game was fucking ass. I tried to lie to myself and I played it for a few weeks, but it was only a matter of time before the bullshit bled through. I was around for a few patches. I don't remember if it was 2 or 3, but after that they showed me exactly how it was going to go. All that was left at that point was to go into forum mode as there was no reason to play that shit any more. I was one of the biggest Bioware fans back in the day. It wasn't just this game. Little bit a DA2...A LOT of DA: I and of course ME:A, but the effectively killed this dev for me with this game. enough is enough. I can't see rating this game anything over absolute trash. I can't sit here and name one redeeming quality about this game. To be fair all my brain fills with is their god awful balance, but hey.....at least we got jump jets

I made an investment on hope through rose-tinted glasses that they could only add even more life into this much like the way ME3 maintained its life for years.
I paid 60 dollars for that hope day 1, watched the price tank to nothing, and see some of the simplest things I hoped for (like quarians, or a longer game life) never delivered. It's just about impossible for me to say anything positive about my experience with Andromeda Multiplayer because it felt like what good faith ME3MP gave me across the years was betrayed in half a year by Andromeda.
That aside, I preferred ME3MP's pacing. I preferred ME3's kits and characters. I preferred how ME3 didn't totally piss on camping to the extent ME:A does. Overall, I was able to sit down and play much longer sessions of ME3MP than ME:A MP without frustration. I voted; bad.

There was like a short window (I think around 1.06?) when it seemed to become better, but like CHRrOME described it was a hot mess at launch and the 1st impression is always hard to shake off. Heftiest killer was the lack of diversity and the fucking lame grind to bring kits to level 20. I'm talking XP here not the stupid cards. By the time they made XP boosts and whatnot more accessible I mostly had lost interest. The final death blow was the tweak of the hack objective - I just couldn't be arsed to play a barricade kit or something similarly useful in pugs all the effin' time to get to mission successful. That - and a look at the ridiculous loot bloat made me put it aside for good.

Before patch 1.06 it felt average to me. Patch 1.06-1.08 it was heading to the right direction to be good. Had they added more new races/characters with actual diversity, new maps and one more new faction it would have been a decent fun game. But then the copy-pasted weapon bloat of Patch 1.09 is so ridiculous that I can't rate it any higher than "just bad" in the end.

Before patch 1.06, 4/10. When patch 1.06 hit, I'd say it jumped up to a 7/10 and things were really looking good for the future. We all know what happened after that.

Overall, IMO, pretty average. When brief period of shiny novelty expires, the empty shell presents itself in all the ugliness. It is playable though but laggy, unstable, glitchy, with bloated manifest, clumsy controls, timid bland enemies who can't kill you one on one and only run around at the speed of light, way overdone stunlock, and endless reloading. Still kind of works, so ... idk, balanced?

For me, better than ME3MP. For one very clear reason:
I never played ME3MP. I had it on XBox 360, so never got it online before the X360 did a RRoD. Never migrated to PC until MEA either as I had ALL my playthroughs on X360 already. Didn't want to spend hundreds of hours all over again.

I only played it on daily basis for the first two weeks. Then came back after every patch to check it out. When compared to me3mp the game is just not as fun. For too many reasons. The prime ones,in my opinion, not sticking to the me3 formula and building everything around jetpacks. Of course there others as many have mentioned among which are the dull enemies, combat, bloated manifest, recycled enemies, characters and powers, etc.
The game was losing player base rapidly so it was no surprise they'd cut budget on future plans. I hope they've learned from their mistakes and that they don't kill the franchise. I hope to see an ME game in the near future that goes back to what made ME3MP so popular or introduce in the next ME something revolutionary that will satisfy loyal fans.
Oh and I voted good cuz, I think, I would have enjoyed it more if I had not played me3mp.

ME3 isn't that expensive, I've just started a PC manifest, plus there are a ton of new maps and even a new enemy faction to play: Redemption maps (shameless plug ) I ummed and ahhed between average and just bad, and opted for average. It looks pretty, I'll give it that, but no. A poop rolled in glitter is still poop. I am just so disappointed.

Just like the singleplayer, I played it for a month or two before throwing in the towel. After pumping so much time and passion into ME3MP, I for the life of me just could not get into it.

BTW, Kenny Bania, I recall you once remarking that the FO-series carried one of the best (if not the best) soundtracks in gaming history. I also seem to remember you adding something to the extent of 'perhaps the FO:NV soundtrack to a lesser degree'. Please take into account that FO4 was the first and only FO I ever played but I just put on a FO:NV playlist on YouTube and my ears and brains are quite enjoying themselves, I can tell you...

I think you're missing out. You don't know if you don't try; and I tried SO hard to like MEA:MP. For weeks, I'd take a break of a few days, or weeks, and try few matches, but I'd get annoyed and frustrated; and even playing with friends, I just couldn't enjoy it. It's not a matter of I'm missing out really. ME:A offered me a chance to enjoy the ME Universe (Warp, I was looking at you) anew as I missed the use of Biotics from my Adept Sheppard; especially from ME:3. And primarily, I didn't have to worry about past 2 games worth of hundreds of hours if not thousands of hours where I spent doing variantions on the quest outcomes specifically to enjoy the supposed "many" endings I (and many others) were expecting in the ending of ME:3. Oh how that turned out . Especially if I get nostalgic, and I will, so SP is a factor to add in for me. And then of course, before I could say I'm ready to join MP back then, the X360 goes out via RRoD (Red Ring of Death). It was a first gen X360. So if you look through the history of that device, the fact that it lasted 7-8 years before giving up was already a miracle. But the point was, I couldn't join in on ME:3. As the system was gone. Now? On PC? I have no interest in going back to a game where the only thing I remember vividly is Red, Blue and Green. To be honest, if EA/Bioware had a better response back then than "Artistic Integrity", I might be more willing to return to ME:Trilogy, but I'm not. Not to mention I'm missing all the DLC which would mean I need to purchase them all AGAIN. No thank you. I'm happy to leave the best bits remain in memory. ME:A is where I'll be for now, as it offers me most of the Biotic use I wanted back. And I don't have to go back to the former games mechanics either; MEAMP is the mechanic I started with and grown accustomed to. So here I'll remain. Anyway, the less the more experienced players there are the more I can show off with my Kineticist to any newer players. (Tanking EVERYONE on Platinum for the win. Try do that with anyone else on Platinum! )

Good overall, but starved for content with support ending waaay prematurely compared to ME3MP.
Basically, I like the module itself more than ME3 version, the level up structure and veteran bonuses, the accessibility to a casual/noob like me, who could suddenly do Gold, mission funds to save up and unlock the kits, intergration of Dailies and HQ app, the fighting is incredibly fun, less waves is awesome, the objectives, the kits, but without the variety of maps, enemies and playable species it just too limited to keep playing.
Anyway, I really loved MEAMP and wished it did not get killed off.
