I am extensively well-traveled, due to being a Navy brat (both parents were Naval Officers) and having been an Army Officer myself. I was fortunate enough to hold a position that had me traveling across the United States regularly, as well as overseas postings. My parents have also instilled in me the value of adventure and travel, and I spend an extensive amount of my non-working hours traveling. On average, I spend about 2-3 months out of the year traveling. I plan on increasing that a bit. As for how I have been able to this amount of travel at my age (mid-twenties), I travel on the cheap, don't get bogged down with reservations for things that don't need them, and I don't live exceptionally extravagantly. I want to live a life of travel, and my long-term goal is to live in New Zealand for a long term period (if not permanently.) Some of the goals for places I want to go are the Stans that are off the beaten path, the Caucuses, and Southern-central and Southeast Asia (China specifically). Here's where I've been. The only continents I have not been to are Africa and Antarctica.
For North America: I've been to or through all 50 states in the United States (did a road trip specifically to hit every one on the East Coast), and most of the Canadian provinces (Ontario, Quebec, Nunavut, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, and Nova Scotia.) I've been across the Baja California Peninsula and Yucatan Peninsula around Mexico, as well as Acapulco and Mazatlan.
For Central America, I've been to Belize, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama.
For the Caribbean, I've been to the Bahamas, Dominica, the Dominican Republic, the Cayman Islands, Martinique, St. Kitts & Nevis, Saint Martin, Sint Maarten, and Barbados. I have not had the fortune to hit Jamaica, sadly. I have also been to the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico, though both of these are possessions of the United States, so they don't really count as 'outside' the country.
For South America, I have only been to Brazil (my parents having been stationed in Recife.) I very much would like to explore Western and Central South America, particularly Bolivia, Chile, Peru, and Argentina.
For the proud lands of Europe: My parents were stationed in England once upon a time (we lived in Croydon, I hear it's shit now). I've really only been around London. I never had the pleasure of really exploring the rest of the UK, so I haven't been to Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, or any of the Isles. I also never got to hit Ireland either. I myself was stationed in Germany (in Wiesbaden), and I was able to travel across several parts of Europe. In all, I hit all the BeNeLux states, France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Austria, and the Czech Republic. I had been to Italy (including Sicily), Vatican City, and San Marino previously on a school trip, and I skipped it to get a longer time in the other countries. I missed out on the Nordic countries, Eastern Europe, and most of Central Europe. I also did not hit any of the really small countries like Liechtenstein, Andorra, or Monaco. I will be visiting Iceland in December however (my first Nordic country), and by all-accounts, it will very likely become one of my all-time favorites.
Then to the mighty continent of Asia: Some of the places I wanted to go, some I had to go. Due to my military service, I've spent a lot of time in several parts of Asia: I've been deployed to Afghanistan, and recently was part of the Military Assistance campaign in Iraq. I've also been stationed in South Korea and Japan (as were my parents.) In the Middle East, I've been to Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, and Bahrain. I've been all across the island of Honshu in Japan, as well as Okinawa. In South Korea, I've really only been to the northern part, though Seoul, and on various joint Installations and camps along the DMZ. I've also been to the Philippines, how could I forget?
*Edit* I have also been to Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. As this is an overseas possession of the UK, and not visited normally as a military installation, I count this as part of the UK. It was the only time I have ever been in the Indian Ocean region.
Next, we get to Australia and New Zealand: In Australia, I've been to Victoria, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory (my parents were stationed there), and Queensland. I have yet to reach New Zealand, though by next year, I may be in a program where I live there for a year (if I can get out of the military completely first!)
Finally, we have Oceania: I've been to several island countries (all within the region known as Micronesia), namely the Gilbert Islands (owned by the Republic of Kiribati), the Marshall Islands (Republic of the Marshall Islands), Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands (US possessions), and the Caroline Islands (owned by the Federated States of Micronesia with partial US ownership).
It's not even worth posting a bucket list. I want to hit everywhere equally. Europe is really the only place I don't need to go back to, IMO. And it's not that I would turn it down if offered, but it's the one place I don't feel the need to give another chance. I'd rather hit other places first.
I also want to be an astronaut, but that's not likely to happen, though I would like to give it a try.
In all, I've been to 46 countries.

I was born in California but moved to Calgary AB Canada when I was 4.5. My travels in Alberta have taken me to Banff/Canmore/Cochran, Red Deer, Oyen, ArrowWood, Medicine Hat...I've never been North of Red Deer, so I've never been to Edmonton. Around 1976/77 my mother, sister and I travelled to Honalulu Hawaii for a 'family reunion', (my aunt's husband was in the navy and stationed there so my other aunt arranged for all of us to go on vaction there). I've been back a few times to my town of birth (Hanford, Cali), also been to Lemoore,Sacramento, ElkGrove, Fresno,Visalia, Stockton, drove through Nevada, Montana, Idaho, Utah going to Cali and heading back to Calgary, and I've taken a Greyhound bus from Calgary to Sudbury Ont , then 4.5 years later left Subury and came back to Calgary. Except for the Hawaii trip, I've never left North America and I'm fine with that but I do love the scenery that I've seen in the movies. Ireland, Scotland, England, NewZealand, Australia. I'm not much for heat and humidity, so anything too tropically doesn't intrest me, even though it's beautiful.

My sister and her family lives in Red Deer, or at least that is their home base. They spend time at their farm in the country and it hawaii a fair bit. I go out to Rocky Mountain House area a lot, relatives have an acreage out there.

The rumours of Edmonton winters keeps me to the South. I spent one winter in Red Deer, I never want to see what happens in your neck of the woods! ) I've never been to Rocky, but I hear it's beautiful. I used to know people who lived out there and they would talk about it a lot.

Childish second-grade rhymes aside....
USA-born and -raised.
I have traveled to... -- Canada (Toronto-->Montreal-->Quebec road-trip and it was *lovely.* Hope to visit again and see more) -- Mexico (Cozumel briefly as part of a boat cruise. Sadly, said cruise missed its other stops due to weather) -- England (London when very young but I still sorta remember it. Manchester more recently) -- Bermuda (little island just off of the Carolinas) -- Pakistan (place of my heritage; I also got to stand at the border with India here at a place called Wagah) -- Saudi Arabia (religious duty) -- UAE (Abu Dhabi during layover during trip to the above country, very impressive city)

Live in Scotland. Been lucky enough to visit a lot of Europe - Spain, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Croatia, Norway, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland, Malta, Greece, Montenegro. I've been to the USA a couple of times - New York and Florida. I don't really like long-haul flights so going further afield is always hard for me.
