Still in ME2. I got soo bored with the fighting and the similar approach to most missions, that I needed a break. Aw Do you have the difficulty turned down so that you can get through fights more easily, at least? It's not the difficulty, I just got so bored with the game, I needed a break, because the missions are all so similar. I don't think, I will ever become a big fan of the ME games. I like the universe, I like some of the characters, but I find the missions and the fighting kind if repetitive.

Yes, I know and did that, but there is just so much shooting and fighting, I really needed a break from that. I did restart Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines instead, one of my alltime favorite games (if deeply flawed) to get back into my comfort zone. TBH - ME and me, we won't become best buddies, if not for gem characters like Garrus, Wrex, Jack or Mordin, I would have abandoned it a long time ago. Plus I did get attached to my canon (and only) Shep Janei. I liked, how she turned out and I want to see the Garrus romance. But ME just hasn't the replay value for me like DA, BG, VTMB or some of my other alltime favorites. I think, my problem with the game is that it feels like a shooter in the fights. And the military setting does nothing for me. I still love the Citadel game though

I got through ME1 on the story and characters alone, the game mechanics, the mako etc were quite painful. I never understood why ME2 got so much love, I actually liked the gameplay in ME2 and of course the characters, especially those carried over from ME1 but as to story it was quite short and narrow. However ME3 got it right in terms of more interesting combat, great characters and much better balance of dialogue and story. It will always be one of my favourite games but it wouldn't have been great without the first two and that's the conundrum

I like ME3 combat better, though it's still...shooter-y. I do a LOT of pausing, regardless. Maybe ME3 will win you over and you'll become an ME convert like me

Well - Garrus certainly will help. If I ever make it through ME2, I will consider giving ME3 a try - seems like I'm not the only one not completely happy with the fighting system

Yes fylimar, join us in the ME fandom... ONE OF US, ONE OF US! I honestly like ME1 the best because, even though the combat is weird, it has rpg elements in it with your skills and accuracy being based on your stats. That and it, imo, has the best story of the 3 games. ME2 has the most replay value though because I like assigning different people different roles in the SM and watching the outcomes. Anyway though, um... where are we in the game? Cause... I don't remember. I think Dragon is right though, next round may need to be old school cause it doesn't seem like people are as in to this one judging by the pace of the game.

I had a little trouble thinking up good (for the evils) answers to Shepela's questions. We'll see how they turn out.
