I totally understand feeling like ME2 is a shooter. It was my first ME game and I kinda thought the same. I like ME3 combat better, though it's still...shooter-y. I do a LOT of pausing, regardless.

Maybe ME3 will win you over and you'll become an ME convert like me 

Well - Garrus certainly will help. If I ever make it through ME2, I will consider giving ME3 a try - seems like I'm not the only one not completely happy with the fighting system

I honestly like ME1 the best because, even though the combat is weird, it has rpg elements in it with your skills and accuracy being based on your stats. That and it, imo, has the best story of the 3 games. ME2 has the most replay value though because I like assigning different people different roles in the SM and watching the outcomes.

Anyway though, um... where are we in the game? Cause... I don't remember. I think Dragon is right though, next round may need to be old school cause it doesn't seem like people are as in to this one judging by the pace of the game.
