I top score Gold pugs with a level 1 kit everytime I play the game.

Sometimes by an astonishing margin.

All you need is AF and Throw, with a good gun and a AM3. At level 1, you can put one point in each of those.

The ACA is an absolute beast at level 1. So is the Paladin.

The one that angers some (scrubby) people is when I bring my level 1 Vanilla Human Soldier to the game, with one point in AR and one point in passives, a trusty Claymore with Phasic Ammo, and proceed to mincemeat the map and scoreboard.

N7-Link couldn't do this with a level 1 kit, unless he had "fixed it". Dude was a shit player.

Some players are able to git gud with level 1 kits in gold. Very possible OP.

I'd be less worried about them top-scoring and more worried about there still being hipsters leveling up their kits like it's 2013! O.O

I fail to see why that should worry you particulalry. Some peeps like the challenge of starting-out again with an alt - what difference does that make? And anyway, it's educational for newbs to see first-hand what an old-timer can do with a low-level character and their knowhow. Or am I, as has been known in the past, missing the point?

I understand, and yet I still use Phasic a lot, even on Arc PistolShotgun. Your point is not missed, but I have found it to be a very reliable combination.

Really though, Phasic is for snipers as you know, and the Cheesy Venom KroSoldier for 6x6 Melt Parties 🧀🔥🔥🔥🧀🧀 without the extra Incendiary Ammo Velveeta. Or Pull Falcon Justicar.

I tried level One fury on gold last night. Spent most of gwme horizontal, only damage it did was to the geth that were abot to stamp on my lifeless corpse as One point of anhilation field wafted towads them.

Geth cheat anyway 😒

Anyone with a maxed manifest is going to be able to equip a level 1 loadout which trivializes gold. Quite easily too I might add.

Especially considering those players can equip level 3 weapon amps with a level 4 ammo. Combine that with lots of game knowledge and an adrenaline 3 mod (The Unquestioned Ruler Of All Consumables). Those players will always get to the spawn points first, and have the weapon set up to wipe those enemies out.
