I think Dragon Age Inquisition may well have been the last single-player game (as we would traditionally think of it).
I don't think that's necessarily a problem, just that the solo-player and multi-player aspects of the game may be much more integrated. It will be down to BioWare to make 'whatever it is' be as enjoyable and moving as part installments.

Live service does not equal exclusively multiplayer.
That said, multiplayer does seem to provide better ROI, so the trend for new purely SP AAA games will probably continue to decline. But that doesn't mean that existing SP franchises will suddenly die. They may get recurring revenue features added on, but that's not the same thing as death, at least to me.
There's also hope for story-driven SP in mid-tier games, like Hellblade:Senua's Sacrifice and Life Is Strange.
